Gift Tags

I love the Tags til Christmas stamp set.  I thought I better get some gift tags made before my surgery, not sure my husband or son would want to make them for me!  It is hard for me to buy something that I can easily stamp myself and it is a bonus that I can make them any color I want so they'll match my gift wrap.

Paper:  Marina Mist, Vanilla and Whisper White
Ink:  Marina Mist, Real Read
Markers:  Garden Green, Cherry Cobbler and Early Espresso
Punches:  Ornament, 1 3/4" Circle and 2 3/8"Scallop Circle

Punch Pals Penguin

Today I found out that I have a torn rotator cuff and need surgery.  It just so happens that they had a cancelation on Thursday, December 1 and the doctor strongly recommended that I take that appointment.  So, I've had to cancel my Make & Take for Saturday and am not sure how long it will be before I can stamp again.  :(  I'll try and stamp the next two nights, but I really have a lot of other stuff to get done too.

My card today is for my cousin Terri who is having surgery tomorrow.  I used the penguin from the Stampin' Up! Punch Pals stamp set.  Get well Soon is from the Delightful Dozen set.

Paper:  Baja Breeze and Whisper White
Ink:  Black Stazon and Baja Breeze

Winter Post

Hello!  Today is a very dreary day in Wisconsin (at least in my neck of the woods) and a good day to stamp.  This card is cased (copy and share everything) from the very talented Dawn Olchefske.  I loved her card, but did not have the ribbon or stamp set she used, so I dug through my stuff until I found something that I thought would work.  I'm very happy with the way it turned out.

Stamp set:  Winter Post
Punches:  1 3/4" circle, Lace Ribbon Border and 2 3/8" Scallop Circle
Paper:  Early Espresso, Lucky Limeade, Cherry Cobbler, Whisper White and Christmas Lane DSP
Ribbon:  1/4" Chocolate Chip

Thank you for stopping by today.

Joy Pennant

I hope you all had a Thanksgiving that was as wonderful as mine was.  The food was delicious and it was nice to spend the day with family.  I even got a little stamping in, Holly (Holly and Polish)  stamped snowflakes on my nails!!  They look very cool.

Each year since my nieces were little, I have taken a little craft item for us to make.  This year, we made these banners.  I thought they turned out so cute.  We put magnets on the back so they could put them on their refrigerators.

We used the Perfect Pennants die from Stampin' Up! and attached them to a strip of Real Red card stock punched with the Scallop Edge Border.  We spelled the word 'Joy' using the Jolly Bingo Bits stamp set.

Card stock:  Real Red, Garden Green, Whisper White and Candy Cane Christmas Designer Series Paper (2010).
Punches:  1" circle punch, Scallop Edge Border
Extras:  Stampin' Dimensionals, glue dots and Mini Brads

Thank you so much for your nice comments, I am honored that you take the time out of your busy days to stop and take a look.

Hershey's Nugget Box

I made this cute little box with the Stampin Up! Matchbox die and the Big Shot Die-Cutting Machine.  Four Hershey's nuggets fit perfectly inside.   The fall flowered paper is not from Stampin' Up! (I'm still trying to use up some old card stock).  The box base is from an Stampin' Up! In Color pack from several years ago and the ribbon is Mellow Moss.  For the cute nugget bands I used the It's a Wrap Holidays SU stamp set which is in the Holiday Mini.

Card stock:  More Mustard (tag) and Whisper White (bands)
Ink:  Chocolate Chip and More Mustard

Today's card is for my nephew's birthday on Monday.  I figured that Mason wouldn't be checking out my blog, so it was safe to post!  :)  I used the retired Bird set (gotta love it) and the square lattice embossing folder.  The paper I used was Close to Cocoa (retired), Whisper White and Basic Black.  I used a blender pen and water color crayons to color the bird and branch.  I hope Mason likes it as much as I do.

Stampin Up! is having a sale to kick off the holiday shopping season.  It begins on Monday, November 21, 2011 and runs through Wednesday, November 30, 2011.  Log into my Online Store to take advantage of the great savings.  On Monday they will have two items on sale for 24 hours only.

Thanksgiving Card

Today's card was inspired by a Create with Connie & Mary sketch challenge.  It is the very first time I've entered.  I used River Rock, Spice Cake DSP, and Vanilla card stock and More Mustard and Soft Suede ink.  The flower stamp is called Triple Treat Flower and the Happy Thanksgiving stamp is from one of the first sets I bought 10 years ago.

Thank you for visiting.

Tissue Box Cover

Wow!  What a difference in the weather today!  It's so cold and windy that I thought this would be a  good day to show a tissue box cover.

I must say that this picture does not do this justice.  I used Whisper White, Old Olive and my favorite discontinued paper of all time, Bordering Blue.  The super cute snowman is from Snow Much Fun.  I tapped my blender pen in Bordering Blue, Pumpkin Pie, and Always Artichoke stamp pads to color him.  For the boots I used my black watercolor crayon.  The snow ball has some Dazzling Details (Holiday Mini) on it.  The felt snowflakes are a couple of years old, I bought a bunch, they'll last me forever!  The only non Stampin' Up! item I used was the embossing folder, which from Cuttlebug.  I rubbed the entire box with a sponge dabbed on my Bordering Blue ink pad.

Thanks for stopping by today.

Hello!  What a beautiful day it is today.  I took my dog for a walk before I made this rosette card.  I used More Mustard and Soft Suede card stock along with the beautiful Spice Cake Designer Series Paper from the Stampin' Up! Holiday Mini Catalog which is what I used to make the rosette.  The only stamping I did on this card was the center of the smallest circle, that flower is from the Language of Friendship stamp set.  The punch I used is the Lace Ribbon Border.  I've seen cards similar to this on my favorite blogs and thought they were pretty so I had to make one.

Nature Walk

Today's card is a favorite of mine.  The stamp set is called Nature Walk (121925).  I used Whisper White, Baja Breeze, and Not Quite Navy card stock.  Almost Artichoke, Not Quite Navy, and Chocolate Chip stamp pads.  Unfortunately the DSP, Springtime Vintage, is no longer available.

Hope you enjoyed today's post.  Thank you for looking!

Snowman Card

I am so excited!  This is my very first post.  I wanted to make a special card for my first one and this is what I came up with.  I'm pretty sure that it is an original design...I look at so many stamping blogs, but don't remember seeing it anywhere.  So very sorry if I am wrong.  The middle circle opens up to reveal a snowflake inside!  Too cute.

All of the supplies used are from Stampin' Up!:  Peekaboo Frames die; 1 3/8" circle, 1 3/4" circle, Word Window and 1" Square punches; Whisper White and Baja Breeze card stock; and Cherry Cobbler/White Baker's Twine.

Thank you for visiting today!
