You Are Loved Valentine

Hello!  Today's card is another one made with the You Are Loved stamp set.  Those of you that know me personally know that I don't usually use too many embellishments on my cards because I have to mail most of them.  I was trying to come up with something that I could mail but would be a little fancier and was very pleased with how this card turned out.  (Of course, it looks much better in person.)

Melon Mambo is my favorite Stampin' Up! color.  I just love it!!!  I think it was the perfect color choice for this card.  I ran it through the Big Shot using the Square Lattice embossing folder and used the Full Heart punch to create the window at the bottom.  So, do you like it?  I may have a hard time giving this one away!  :)

Supplies:
Paper:  Whisper White and Melon Mambo
Ink:  Melon Mambo
Markers:  Old Olive and Melon Mambo
Ribbon:  Black 1/2" Scallop Dots
Punch:  Full Heart
Extras:  Big Shot, Square Lattice folder and dimensionals

Thank you so much for stopping by and I wish you all a very Happy New Year!  I for one am looking forward to 2012, this past year has been very difficult with all of the natural disasters.  I hope this next year is better for everyone.

Hi!  Today's card was made with the You Are Loved (123777) stamp set from the 2011 Holiday Mini.  I was very sad to hear that it will not be carried over to 2012.  If you love this set as much as I do, you can still order it here through January 3, 2012.

Snow Much Fun Thank you

Hello!

I finally had some time to sit and make Christmas thank you cards.  This card was inspired by France Martin and I really like the way it turned out.
Today I used Watercolor crayons with a blender pen to color the snowman.  The snowball is filled with a dab of Dazzling Details (I love that stuff and am hoping that Stampin' Up! will carry it over to the next catalog).  The edges of the Crumb Cake piece are sponged with Crumb Cake ink and the Whisper White with Baja Breeze ink.

Paper:  Baja Breeze, Crumb Cake and Whisper White
Stamps:  Snow Much Fun, Jolly Bingo Bits and Delightful Dozen
Ink:  Baja Breeze, Crumb Cake and Black Stazon
Water Color Crayons:  Baja Breeze, Crumb Cake, Black and Pumpkin Pie
Punches:  Snowflake and Word Window
Misc.:  Dazzling Details, sponge and blender pen

Christmas Gift Box

Hello!

Things have gotten a little hectic around here with the holidays and my physical therapy so I haven't had time to make (or post) anything!  Well, today I really needed to make a box for a gift so I finally have something to post!

This box measures 7" x 7" x 1".  I used the Letters to Santa DSP to decorate it and a Velcro circle as a closure.  I was so happy with the way it turned out.

Supplies used:

Stamps:  Jolly Bingo Bits
Paper:  Old Olive, Riding Hood Red, Whisper White and Letters to Santa
Punch: 1 1/4" circle
Die:  Matchbox (the Riding Hood Red tag)

Thank you so much for stopping by.  I wish you all the Merriest Christmas and a healthy, Happy New Year.

Letters To Santa Bingo

Today's post required no stamping at all.  Four of these bingo cards come on one 12 x 12 piece of Letters to Santa Designer Series Paper.  I thought it was too cute and just had to make a bingo game out of it.
I used my 3/4" circle punch to make the markers and mounted each of the cards on a coordinating color of card stock.  What a fun little game to have around for the holidays.  (I'm hoping a certain someone in my family thinks so too.)

Paper:  Letters to Santa DSP, Riding Hood Red, Old Olive, Early Espresso and Marina Mist
Punch:  3/4" circle

Thank you so much for stoping by and have a great day!

Holly's Birthday Card

Hello,

Today's card was made for my niece, Holly, for her birthday.  Happy Birthday Holly!!  Her cards are always so much fun to make because I usually use a 'holly' stamp on them somewhere.  This year I was so excited when I saw that one of the sides of the Letters to Santa designer paper had 'Holly Jolly" on it.  I knew somehow I'd have to use it for Holly's card.  This is what I came up with:

The front with the doors closed (almost anyway).  I wanted to add some bling (without bulk since I was mailing the card) so I used Dazzling Details glitter glue on the white dots and Cherry Cobbler Dazzling Details (new in the Occassions Mini beginning Jan. 4, 2012) on the holly berries.

Here's the inside.  Hope you liked it Holly.  :)

Stamp set:  Jolly Bingo Bits
Paper:  Riding Hood Red, Old Olive, Whispering White and Letters to Santa DSP
Punch:  Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border
Die:  Peekaboo Frames
Markers:  Riding Hood Red and Old Olive

Beanie Hat Gift Card Holder

Today I found a tutorial on Splitcoaststampers on how to make this adorable gift card holder.  The pom pom on top is made with the Boho Blossoms punch (came up with that idea all on my own since I didn't have the one they used!).  I used Whisper White ribbon for the bow and for the base of the hat.  The designer paper is Ruby Red.

Here's what it looks like opened up.  Now someone in my family knows they are getting a McDonald's gift card this year.  But really, are they even looking????

Thank you so much for stopping by and have a great day!

Mini Christmas Scrapbook

I love this simple page!  The ribbon has snowflakes (Martha Stewart punch) that have been attached with glue dots.  I cut the tree out of the designer series paper.

I stamped Merry Christmas (from the Family Reunion stamp set) along the bottom and stamped a snowflake on the Curly Label punch (cut in half) to put along the sides.

The final two pages have a couple of journaling boxes on them.  I used the Peekaboo Window Frame die to add some fun to the page.  When you open the doors you'll find some cute little animals in there.  I hope you liked this mini scrapbook, it was a lot of fun to put together.  I'm thinking it is going to be a gift for someone in my family.  :)

Mini Christmas Scrapbook

I love this candy cane page.  I used white Stazon ink to stamp the candy canes on the top and Real Red for the journaling tag.  The Real Red 5/8" satin ribbon is held together with a Whisper White mini brad.

On this page I cut a Top Note die piece in half for the ends of the pages.  The paper buttons were made with the Sweet Buttons Embosslits die.  This die is so handy to have...you can always match your button color to your project and they they mail much better than regular buttons!

I hope you enjoy your Sunday!

Mini Christmas Scrapbook

Hello!

Today I will begin to show you a 5 x 7 Christmas Scrapbook I made.  I used my Bind-It-All to put it together and a Martha Stewart snowflake punch, everything else is from Stampin' Up!.

Here's the front cover.

Supplies:

Paper - Candy Cane Christmas DSP, Whisper White, Real Red, Garden Green and Baja Breeze
Ribbon -  Real Red 3/4" Grosgrain Polka Dot and Baja Breeze 1" Double Stitched
Brads - Real Red

Here's the first page.  The papers are the same as listed above.  I used the retired Holiday Sampler stamp set and my 1" and 1 1/4" circle punches for the decorations along the sides.  I wish the pictures turned out as cute as this book really is!  Stop back tomorrow for the next page.  :)

Thank you for stopping by and have a wonderful day!

2011 Christmas Card

Hi!

Since almost all of my Christmas cards have been mailed out I thought it was ok post it.  As soon as I saw the Snow Much Fun stamp set in the 2011-2012 Stampin' Up! Idea Book & Catalog I knew it would be this year's Christmas card.  I love this set!!!  There is another snowman too, maybe I'll stamp something with it later this week so I can show you.

The card has a hill made out of Dazzling Details glitter glue that is supposed to make the snowball look like it is rolling downhill, it is a little hard to see though.  I really liked working with the glue, it went on easy and has a nice sparkle to it.

Supplies:
Stamp Sets - Snow Much Fun and Jolly Bingo Bits
Paper - Whisper White, Old Olive and Brocade Blue (retired)
Ink - Black Stazon, Brocade Blue
Markers - Real Red, Pumpkin Pie, Early Espresso
Water Color Crayons - Black and gray
Extras - Blender pen, Mini Brads, Big Shot and Snow Burst Embossing Folder

Thank you for stopping by!

Top Note Gift Card Holder

Hello!  Well, we had a little snow this morning.  It really looked pretty, but I must admit I was happy not to have to drive in it.  It made me miss work, I know the kids were probably so excited.  Have I mentioned that I work as a Special Education Aide in a public school?  It's a great job and the kids are wonderful.

Today's post is a gift card holder I was inspired to make by Eileen LeFevre.  I used the Top Note Die to make it.  The front cover was embossed with the Snow Burst folder.  The ornament is tied with Cherry Cobbler bakers twine that has two mini jingle bells hanging from it.  They make a nice little jingle!!

Stamp sets:  Tags til Christmas and Winter Post
Paper:  Whisper White, Real Red and Christmas
             Lane
Punches:  Ornament and Decorative Label
Extras:  Old Olive Glimmer Brad

Here's what the inside looks like.  Had I been thinking, I could have put a gift card in it!  Of course, I don't have any bought yet, so I guess that would have made it difficult to do!!

My shoulder is feeling a little better.  I only woke up once in the night with pain!  I slept better than
I have in weeks. :)

Thank you so much for stopping by!

Purse calendar

Hello, I thought it was about time to post again!  Things are going much better than I thought they would with only one arm.  My husband has been so very helpful.

Today I'm going to show you my appointment calendar that I made to keep in my purse.  I never seem to find what I am looking for in the stores, so last year I made my own and it worked out so well that I made another one for 2012.  I'm using retired Designer Series Paper called Springtime Vintage from last years Stampin' Up! Occasions Mini Catalog.  I love their two sided paper - it is not only pretty, but a joy to work with.  I buy it all the time and then don't use it because I can't bear to cut it!  Silly I know.   It was my goal for 2011to use DSP more often in my projects.  Any way here's the outside:
I did stamp the flower with one hand this morning.  The rest I put together Wed. night.

On the inside I made a pocket for my Haircut Loyalty Card!  It's great, I always know where my card is!

I used a retired stamp set for the months and hand wrote the dates in after printing out the calendar template.  When I am using my right arm more I'll stamp little things on each page for the holidays and other special events.

I used some thin cardboard under the DSP so it would not bend in my purse.  It measures 5" x 7 1/2".

Supplies:
Paper - Always Artichoke, Very Vanilla
Markers:  Regal Rose, So Saffron and Always Artichoke.

Thank you so much for stopping by today!

Number of Years

Hello! Our Grand Niece turns 1 today and this is the card I made for her. I know this doesn't look very child like, but I wanted to ...
