Triple Treat Flower card

Hello!  Today's card was super easy to make.  I stamped the Triple Treat Flower three times and then punched them out with the Fancy Flower punch.  The Whisper White piece was embossed with the Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder.
The center flower was mounted with Dimensionals.

I placed a Rhinestone in the center of each of the flowers for a little 'bling"!  Next time I'm going to see what it would look like with the top and bottom flowers switched so the lighter one is next to the ribbon.

Stamp:  Triple Treat Flower
Paper:  Rich Razzleberry, Whisper White
Ink:  Rich Razzleberry
Extras:  Fancy Flower Punch, Rhinestones, Big Shot, Perfect Polka Dot Embossing Folder,

Lace Ribbon Border Card

Hello!  Today's card was inspired by Mickey Roberts.  I made this for a new customer who bought the Lace Ribbon Border punch thinking that she might like to use the idea too.   It really makes a beautiful card!

The card was made by using a 4 1/4" x 11" piece of card stock scored at 5 1/2".  I then lined up the score line with the edge of the pattern on the punch.  There is enough length to punch the design two times.  The center strip of Whisper White measures 1 5/8" by 5 1/4".

Stamp Set:  Fabulous Florets, Delightful Dozen
Paper:  Whisper White, Orchid Opulence (retired), Wild Wasabi
Punches:  Large Oval, Scallop Oval, Lace Ribbon Border

Petal Cone Carrot

Hi!  Today's post is a carrot made with the petal cone die.  We made this at a Mother/Daughter workshop I had last weekend.  They really liked it.  I love this die, it is so versatile.  The Only Orange (retired) is stamped with the Everybunny stamp set.
The top is stamped too using the Versamark pad .

Vintage Vogue

Hi!  Today's card was inspired by Mickey Roberts.  She made a beautiful card using the Lace Ribbon Border punch on the sides of her card.  I made one just like it and thought...gee would this work with the Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border punch?  Yes, it does and I love it!!!!
Daffodil Delight is not a color I usually use, but it turned out really nice.  The centers of Daffodil flowers are made with the 1/2" circle punch (I stamped the paper first) and the centers of the Tangerine flowers were punch with the large hole on the Crop-A-Dile.
Here's a closer look.  I was going to add some bling to the card, but I decided I liked it just the way it is.

To punch the sides I lined up score line (5 1/2" on a 11" x 4 1/4" card base) with pattern on the punch.  I stopped at the other end when the bottom edge of the card reached the end of the pattern on the other side of the punch.  Hope this makes sense!  You'll be able to figure it out.  :)

Stamp Set:  Vintage Vogue
Paper:  Daffodil Delight, Whisper White
Ink:  Daffodil Delight, Tangerine Tango, Old Olive
Punches:  Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border, 1/2" circle

CCMC194 Sketch Challenge

Hello!  I spent all day yesterday stamping!  What fun, but I must admit I was exhausted last night.  I have been getting ready for my Make & Take class this coming Saturday, what fun cards we are going to be making.

I really liked the challenge from Create with Connie & Mary this week so we will be making this card too.  I thought it turned out really sweet.
This little bunny is so cute!  The entire Everybunny set is terrific.  The scallop circle is from the Perfect Pennants Die.  Finally found something to use my retired brads on!  Love the soft look of this card.

Stamp set:  Everybunny
Paper:  Certainly Celery, So Saffron, Whisper White, Soft Subtles DSP
Ink:  Black Stazon, the bunny was colored with the Stampin' Up! Watercolor Crayons
Extras:  Big Shot, Perfect Pennants Die, Certainly Celery Ribbon (retired), 2 1/2" Circle Punch

Thank you so very much for taking the time to stop by today!

Fancy Flower

Hello!  Boy, I didn't realize it had been so many days since I've posted!  Yikes.  Oh well, I'm sure you all understand how life gets in the way of stamping!!!!

Today's card was inspired by many demonstrators.  I actually received a beautiful swap at the Milwaukee Regional, however there was not a name on the card, so I am not able to give her credit.  Most of the cards I have seen used the Blossom punch for the flower cut out, I choose to shake things up a bit and try my Fancy Flower punch which has been feeling neglected lately.
The buttons were made with the Sweet Buttons Embosslits Die.  I never seem to have the right color buttons, so I'm thrilled that I have this die...never have to worry about matching when I can make my own!  I tried something that I've been wanting to try with the Baker's Twine.  I used a few drops of rubbing alcohol and Pretty in Pink re-inker to dye the twine.  It was so easy and it dried really fast.

Stamp set:  Posy Punch (122482 hostess)
Paper:  Wild Wasabi (108641), Whisper White (100730), Subtles Collection DSP (117152)
Extras:  Fancy Flower Punch (118073), Sweet Buttons Embosslits Die (121813), Stripes Embossing
             Folder (123128), Big Shot (113439), White Baker's Twine (124262)

Mixed Bunch CAS

Hello!  Today's card is clean and simple.  I've seen Pool Party and Basic Black card stock together a lot lately, and thought I'd give it a try.  This card is really simple, but it looks so much better in person.  Love this clean look too.

Stamp sets:  Mixed Bunch, Sincere Salutations
Paper:  Whisper White, Basic Black, Pool Party
Punches:  1" & 1 1/4" circle

I'm working on my Easter cards and hope to be able to show you soon.  This great weather we've been having in Wisconsin definitely has me thinking Easter!  Thanks for stopping by!

8 x 8 Scrapbook Page

Hello!  Today's post is a small scrapbook page that I did for a workshop this past weekend.  I cased it from a speaker at the Milwaukee Regional (sorry, for the life of me I can't recall her name).  Super easy to do, and it was made with products from the Sale-a-bration catalog.

The 8 x 8 paper is Calypso Coral.  The two DSP pieces are Everyday Enchantment.  The trim is Lucky Limeade punched with the Lace Ribbon Border and then cut down the center to make two separate pieces.  I used the Labels Collection Framelit Dies for the stamped image in the upper left hand corner.  The stamp set is Fresh Vintage from the Sale-a-bration catalog.  I used the Blossom and Boho Blossoms punch to make the flower.  All the pieces are held together with a Everyday Enchantment brad.

Thanks for stopping by.

Art Journal

Hello!  I was pretty excited to get this 5 x 5 Art Journal at the Milwaukee Regional.  As the presenters were showing us their journals I thought...mmm I want to make one!  Boy, was I excited when they said we each were getting one!!  It is so cool.  Stampin' Up! gave us a list of things to put on the inside pages revolving around our creativity, and I really plan to do it.  I Already have the cover and one inside page done!  My goal is to finish it by the end of summer.  :)
Since I love the Everyday Enchantment DSP I used it to decorate my cover.  The flower is punched with the Blossom punch and then each piece was split apart (after working it with a bone folder) to make a softer looking flower.  Love, love, love my art journal!!!!!!!

Paper:  Everyday Enchantment DSP, Lucky Limeade, Calypso Coral, Pool Party
Ribbon:  Lucky Limeade, Calypso Coral, Chantilly 1/2"

More Petite Purses

Hello!  Today I have two more purses for you to look at.  Love making these!!
I used Island Oasis DSP left over from a year or two ago.  Not sure why I have so much of this paper left...I think it's from my "buy it, but it's too nice to use" phase!  The little flower was made with the Boho Blossom punch.  The scallop edge on the right one was made with the Dotted Scallop Ribbon Punch, which I then cut in half.

Thanks for stopping by!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Hello!  Today's card was inspired by many different cards I've seen lately.  The most exciting part for me was learning how to do this fold at the Milwaukee Regional.  You use the Labels Collection Framelit Die.  Isn't it cool?!
I didn't have a Leprechaun, but thought this cute Gnome was close enough.
I used the Small Heart punch to make the shamrock he's holding.
The sentiment is from an old stamp set called More Great Greetings.

Stamp Sets:  Gnome Sweet Gnome, More Great Greetings
Paper:  Pool Party, Whisper White, Everyday Enchantment DSP (gonna miss this paper!)
Punch:  Small Heart
Extras:  Big Shot, Labels Collection Framelit Dies, Simply Scored

Thank you for looking!

Another Season of Friendship

Hello!  What a beautiful day we are having in Wisconsin!  I just had to take some time for myself and sit outside and read felt wonderful.  :)

Today's card is similar to another one I made with this stamp set, I just tweaked it a bit.  A friend from work asked my to make it for her mother, who lives in England, for Mother's Day which is coming up over  there.
My card base is Regal Rose.  The flowers are punched out with the Boho Blossoms punch.  I ran the Whisper White through the Big Shot with the Square Lattice Embossing folder after it was stamped and the flowers were glued on.

Stamp Set:  Season of Friendship
Paper:  Regal Rose, Wild Wasabi, Whisper White, Melon Mambo
Ink:  Early Espresso, Wild Wasabi
Punches:  Scallop Edge Border, Scallop Oval, Boho Blossoms

Petite Purse

Hello!  I couldn't wait to post this picture...
Look how stinkin' cute this little purse is!!!!  I'm not kidding you, Mr. Brown dropped off my Stampin' Up! order less than 30 minutes ago.  I opened the box and ran right to my stamping room to make this purse.  It is even better than I thought it'd be.  I've seen some ladies add ribbon trim and scalloped edges to it too.  I don't have time for that today, but don't worry, you'll be seeing more of these.
Here's the inside filled with 9 Hershey's Chocolate Eggs.  Lots of little things will fit inside, the options are limitless.  It is super easy to make too!  Can't ask for anything more than that!!

Milwaukee Regional Make & Takes

Hello!  I thought I would post the two cards I made at the Milwaukee Regional.
We used a lot of punches on this one:  1 3/8" & 1 1/4" Circle, Scallop Edge Border, Blossom Bouquet Triple Layer and Small Heart.  The sentiment came from the Send Me Soaring stamp set.
We used the Send Me Soaring stamp set for this View Master card.  When you turn the Whisper White circle (you can see it sticking beyond the card base on the right side) three different colored kites show in the circle window.  Cute!

We had a nice day, and it was great meeting my upline and a few sidelines for the first time too.  I have to admit though that the highlight of my day was meeting Shelli Gardner, Stampin' Up! Cofounder and CEO, and getting my picture taken with her.  What a nice lady!

Thank you for stopping by today!!

Everybunny Swap

Hello!  Tomorrow is an exciting day for me, I get to go to my very first Stampin' Up! Regional event!!!  Can't wait!  Here is the card I made for my swap:
The Everybunny stamp set is so stinkin' cute and I'm very happy with how these turned out.
I used markers, watercolor crayons and ink pads with a blender pen to color the stamped image.  The toadstools were stamped with Pacific Point ink.

Stamp Set:  Everybunny
Paper:  Pacific Point, Whisper White, Brights DSP
Punches:  Large Oval, Scallop Oval, Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border

Happy 18th Birthday Kyle!

Hi!  Today is my son's 18th birthday.  Where have the years gone??  I was invited to my first Stampin' Up! party when he was 4 years old.  I remember we were at one of his friend's birthday party and one mom had stamped a card for the little boy.  All us women were like, "Did you make that?!"  She said yes and mentioned that we'd be getting an invite to a Stampin' Up! party.  The rest is history.  I have loved making my son's cards over the years, and bless his heart, he always tells me how much he likes them!
I have to tell you that I used my Cricut machine to cut out the 18, but the rest of the card is Stampin' Up!

Blossoms Punch Basket

Hello!  Boy, I must say I'm having a tough time keeping up with my blog.  This afternoon I was so excited to finally have some time to stamp.  I spent forever on a card and then decided that it was probably the ugliest thing I have ever made and just could not post it.  Then I thought, now what?  Thankfully I remembered seeing this cute little basket on Brenda Quintana's blog, Qbee's Quest.  Isn't it cute?!  Not only that it's also very easy to make.  My kind of project!  It really took me 10 minutes or less  to make.

It is made by gluing seven of "Blossom" punch pieces together.  The one used for the base is hidden.  The handle is made using the Scallop Ribbon Border.
I used some Old Olive Ribbon and Plum Glitter Brads for the bows on the sides.  Pretty sure I'm going to making more of these for Easter gifts.  When you put candy in the center it looks really cute!

Stamp Set:  Mixed Bunch
Paper:  Perfect Plum, So Saffron, Old Olive
Punches:  Blossom, Scallop Ribbon Border
Extras:  Glitter Brads, Old Olive Ribbon, Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Mini Baby Scrapbook

Hello!  What a weekend we've had around our house...very busy.  Between all the cleaning, laundry, shoveling and helping my son study, I managed to make this mini scrapbook for a co-worker who's due any day now.  I would have liked to make more pages, but this will have to do.  Here's the cover:
The main colors are So Saffron, Early Espresso, Marina Mist and Wild Wasabi.  I love these colors together.  Except for the Packed for Baby all of the other stamp sets are retired.
The pages are pretty clean and simple.  I don't like it when the page takes the focus away from the photos.

I used this set, Toy Box, so often when I made my son's younger years scrapbook.  It's all boy.
This page really looks better in person!  My son got me to step outside of the box, and not have these two pages symmetrical.
Love this page.  Well, that's it.  Hope you enjoyed it.

Stamp Sets:  Packed for Baby, Toy Box, Cuddles & Tickles
Paper:  Early Espresso, So Saffron, Wild Wasabi, Marina Mist, DSP
Ink:  Wild Wasabi, Early Espresso, Marina Mist, Basic Gray, Black Stazon
Big Shot:  Scallop Square (not SU), Sweet Buttons Embosslits Die, Stripes Embossing Folder
Punches:  Large Tag, Large Oval, 1" Circle, Scallop Edge Border, Corner Rounder, Scallop Square,
                1" Square
Extras:  Markers, Assorted Ribbons

March Calendar Page

Hello!  Happy March!  Where has the time gone so far this year?  The older I get the faster it goes.  :)  Anyway, it's time for another page from my Birthday Calendar.  My picture taking skills were lacking this month...I cut off the "Good Luck" stamp at the bottom of the page.  :(  Sorry about that.  I've seen many creative people come up with characters made from punches.  I got the idea for this leprechaun from MBKay on Splitcoast Stampers just had to make one.
Isn't he cute?  I added a glitter brad for some "bling" on his hat.

Stamp Set:  So Happy For You (Sale-A-Bration, from last year I think)
Ink:  Wild Wasabi, Garden Green, Cajun Craze, Blush Blossom (retired)
Punches:  1 3/4" Scallop Circle, Owl Builder (eyes & nose), Large Tag, Word Window, 1 3/8" Circle
Extras:  Glitter Brad, Blush Blossom & Basic Black markers
