October Calendar

Hello!  Today's post will be quick!  This is my October Birthday Calendar page.  I used the Spooky Bingo Bits stamp set.  The edges are sponged with Basic Gray ink.  I might go back and add more sponging to make it "spookier"!!!!

Four Seasons

Hello!  Today's card was made with the Four Seasons Hostess Set.  I loved this set the minute I saw it, but let me tell you...I've struggled with what to do with it.  I've seen so many beautiful cards posted on Stampin' Connection, yet when I go to use it, things don't work out the way I've planned.  Although this card is a little plain, I am happy with it!

I stamped the leaf on the Soft Suede card stock with Soft Suede ink and then ran it through the Big Shot with the Square Lattice Embossing Folder. The leaves were stamped using the baby wipe technique and I used markers on the center piece and popped it up with a Dimensional.

Stamp Set:  Four Seasons
Ink:  Old Olive, Riding Hood Red, Rich Razzleberry, More Mustard
Markers:  Old Olive, Riding Hood Red, Rich Razzleberry, More Mustard, Espresso, Crumb Cake
Punches:  3/4", 1", 2 1/4" (not SU), 2 1/2" Circle

Hi!   I have another Halloween card for you today.  Can't seem to stop making them!  I'm trying to wait until October before I start on Christmas items.  It just seems too early yet, although...usually by this time I have my Christmas cards all done!  This year is going to be different.  Instead of making all the same ones to send out, I will be sending family and friends all of the cards I've made for my blog posts.  We'll have to see how well my idea works!
I thought this card turned out super cute.  Love those spiders.  My favorite part though is the rosette.  I see people using them all the time and I always think they look so cool.  Although, I won't be mailing this card out!!  Way too thick!
The Basic Black Strip was cut and then run through the Big Shot with the Spider Web Embossing Folder.Supplies
Stamp Set:  Spooky Bingo Bits
Ink:  Basic Black (yes, I know it looks light, I need to order a refill!)

Fall Banner

Hello!  I love to make fall decorations to hang up around our house, and knew I had to make something with  my favorite leaves.  I was very happy with the way this turned out.  It's very simple, but looks nice hanging on our mud room door.
I thought the hemp twine (retired) would be perfect to hang the leaves from and it looks nice with the Natural Designer Buttons.  The edges of the leaves have been sponged with the same color ink.  Love, love, love this alphabet set!!!
Supplies Stamp Set:  Morning Post Alphabet Ink:  Old Olive, More Mustard, Riding Hood Red, Pumpkin Pie Card Stock:  Old Olive, More Mustard, Riding Hood Red, Pumpkin Pie, Whisper White Extras:  Sponges, Big Shot, Autumn Leaves Die, Natural Designer Buttons, Hemp Twine,               Multipurpose Liquid Glue
Thanks for stopping by, hope you have been inspired to make your own fall banner!

Wedding Card

Hello!  This card was made for our niece who is getting married today.  I really struggled with this...not sure if I'm completely happy with it or not, but you can only spend so much time on a card!
I used Very Vanilla Card Stock and embossed it with the Framed Tulips Folder. I stamp the cake three times with VersaMark Ink and heat embossed with clear embossing powder.  I cut off some of the layers from the top two pieces and layered them with Dimensionals so it would look a little bit more like a tiered cake.
Supplies Stamp Set:  Love & Laughter Card Stock:  Very Vanilla Ink:  VersaMark Markers:  Old Olive, Cajun Craze, Riding Hood Red, More Mustard Extras:  Pearl Basic Jewels, Heat Tool, Clear Embossing Powder, Dimensionals, Big Shot, Framed              Tulips Embossing Folder

Hello!  Today's card was made for this weeks Freshly Made Sketches Challenge.  Hop on over there to see all the cute cards!
I love this card.  What a fun sketch.  I was able to use both my Woodgrain and Stripes Embossing Folders and, of course, the Autumn Accents Die.  I'm so addicted to those leaves!!! The Owl and bag are mounted with Dimensionals.Supplies Stamp Set:  Spooky Bingo Bits Ink:  Jet Black Stazon, More Mustard Paper:  Very Vanilla, Tangerine Tango, Basic Black, Howlstooth and Scaringbone DSP Punches:  1" & 1 1/4" Circle Extras:  Big Shot, Autumn Accents Die, Woodgrain & Stripes Embossing Folders, Blender Pen

Licorice Brooms

Hello!  Today I'm going to show you a licorice broom that I cased from the Stampin' Up! Catalog (page 29). Isn't this a super cute idea?  They are really fun and easy to make and I will be making plenty more of these to give out.  I put one piece of chocolate licorice into a 1" x 8" cellophane bag.  The broom bristles are made with a 3" x 2 1/2" piece of DSP which I cut with my paper trimmer (you could easily cut it with scissors too). It's hard to see but the DSP is wrapped in ribbon and the 1 1/4" tags are attached with Baker's Twine.  We made these at my last Make & Take class and they were a big hit.
Supplies Stamp Set:  Spooky Bingo Bits Ink:  More Mustard, Rich Razzleberry Card Stock:  Whisper White, Basic Black, Various DSP Punches:  1  1/4" & 1 3/8" Circle Extras:  Paper trimmer, Bakers Twine, Chocolate Chip Grosgrain Ribbon, Basic Black Scallop Dots              Ribbon

Autumn Leaves Basket

Hello!  I'm really excited about today's's a little basket (that will be perfect for holding Hershey's Kisses I'm thinking!) made using the Autumn Leaves Die. Isn't it cute?!  I love it.  I made one earlier this year using a flower punch and thought the leaves would work too.  All I did was cut out 5 leaves with the die and glue them onto a 2 1/2" circle and curled up the edges with my fingers.  The handle is made using the Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border Punch and has leaves and an acorn glued onto it.   This photo shows the different textures on the leaves made using embossing folders.  Love this look!
Supplies: Stamp Set:  Wonderfall Card Stock:  Old Olive, More Mustard, Cajun Craze, Pumpkin Pie, Bravo Burgundy, Soft Suede Ink:  Soft Suede, Pumpkin Pie, Old Olive, More Mustard Punch:  Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border, 2 1/2" Circle Extras:  Big Shot; Autumn Leaves Die; Stripes, Spider Web, Chevron, Argyle, Square Lattice and Woodgrain Embossing …

Lovely As a Tree Anniversary

Hello!  Today's card was made for my parents anniversary.  Can you imagine my horror when I went to my cupboard and discovered that I did not have a single Stampin' Up! "Anniversary" stamp??!!  Luckily, I thought about My Digital Studio!  I hadn't downloaded the free one month trial of MDS 2 yet, and really, it only took a only couple of minutes and I was ready to go.  It was very easy printing out what I needed and then I was able to start stamping.
I love this card!  I used the baby wipe technique (put a few drops of multiple colors of ink refills onto a baby wipe, let it soak in and stamp) to stamp the leaves.  I cut the center out of the top layer of Soft Suede first with one of the  Labels Collection Framelits and then embossed it with the Square Lattice Embossing Folder.

Halloween Treat Pouch

Hello!  Today I'm showing you a cute little treat pouch that I cased from Becky Roberts.  She had a tea bag stuck in hers,  and I decided to put a snack sized candy bar in mine.  This project is so versatile that anything could be tucked in it and you can use any of the Stampin' Up! Dies for it as well.

I used the Top Note Die to cut two pieces of Howlstooth and Scaringbone DSP.  One of them I scored at 1 1/2" and then glued them both together.  I stamped on the cotton ribbon with Jet Black Stazon ink and secured it with a Black Glitter Brad. I stamped the spider on Very Vanilla Card Stock and punch it out with the 1 1/4" Circle Punch and then layered it on a 1 3/8" Tangerine Tango circle and a black 1 3/4" Scallop Circle.
Supplies Stamp Set:  Spooky Bingo Bits Paper:  Very Vanilla, Tangerine Tango, Basic Black, Howlstooth and Scaringbone DSP Ink:  Jet Black Stazon Punches:  1/14" & 1 3/8" Circle,  1 3/4 Scallop Circle Extras:  Big Shot, Top N…

Pumpkin Purse

Hi!  Today I'm sharing something that I cased from Missi Roeber.  She posted three different Halloween purses made with the Petite Purse Die on Stampin' Connection.  I've only made the Pumpkin one so far, here it is...
Isn't it cute?!!!  After I cut out the purse I ran it back through the Big Shot with the Stripes Embossing Folder.  Can you guess what punch I used to make the mouth?  Yep, the Owl Builder.   The top was made with the 1/4" Sweater Trim from the Holiday Mini.  I cut short strips and tied them together with Linen Thread.  I cut the nose freehand and the eyes were punched with the 3/4" circle punch.
Supplies Paper:  Tangerine Tango, Basic Black Punches:  3/4" Circle, Owl Builder Extras:  Big Shot, Petite Purse Bigz  L, Stripes Embossing Folder, 1/4" Sweater Trim, Linen Thread,               Multipurpose Glue
Thank you for stopping by today!

Autumn Accent Wreath

Hello!  I wanted to use up some very old fall DSP and thought I'd try to make a wreath.  At first I mounted a bunch of leaves onto a circle of chipboard and it really looked too flat.   I glued three leaves together to make a 3D leaf and I really liked that look.  I made four of them to glue onto the wreath.
I know I say this all the really looks much better in person!!  It does, especially hanging on my den door.  :)  I added a few acorns that I ran through the Big Shot using the Woodgrain embossing folder to add some texture.  The edges of the leaves were sponged with Soft Suede ink.  The good thing is that I finally used up all of this retired DSP!!!
Here's a close up of an acorn.  This was a super easy and fun project.
Supplies Paper:  Retired DSP, Chipboard (for my base), Soft Suede Ink:  Soft Suede Extras:  Big Shot, Autumn Accents Bigz Die, Woodgrain Embossing Folder, Multipurpose Liquid Glue, Dimensionals, Hemp Twine (retired)

Nature Walk Card

Hello!  I decided to give you a break from all of the fall things I've been making and just make some everyday cards.  Here are a couple I've made using the Nature Walk stamp set.  I hadn't picked this stamp set up in a long time.   The one standing up was made with Crumb Cake card stock and ink and the one laying down was made with Sahara Sand.  Love them both!
Supplies Stamp Set:  Nature Walk Paper:  Crumb Cake, Very Vanilla, Sahara Sand Ink:  Crumb Cake, Sahara Sand Extras:  Big shot, Square Lattice & Woodgrain Embossing Folders
Thank you for stopping by.

Hello!  Today's card is another one made with the beautiful Wonderfall stamp set.  What will I do when fall is over and I have to take a brake from this set???  lol
I stamped off onto a piece of scrap paper then onto my piece of Very Vanilla card stock.  After sponging the entire piece with Soft Suede I cut it into 6 pieces and mounted it onto my More Mustard card base.  I didn't measure (you know me), just eyeballed it.  The leaves of course were cut with my Big Shot and Autumn Accents Die.
Supplies Stamp Sets:  Wonderfall, So Happy for You (retired)
Ink:  More Mustard, Soft Suede, Old Olive, Riding Hood Red, Cajun Craze
Paper:  Very Vanilla, More Mustard, Soft Suede, Riding Hood Red

Candy Dish

Hello!  Well, I'm heading back to school (work) today and thought I'd take a little candy dish along with me.  The Storytime DSP was perfect to wrap this container in.  Such an easy and fun project!
I attached the DSP with Sticky this stuff, it sticks to anything!
Here are two more views. The Candy sign is made by covering chipboard with Midnight Must card stock.

September Birthday Calendar

Hello!  Wow, I cannot believe it is September 1st already!  Here's my birthday calendar page...
Of course I had to use the Wonderfall stamp set and matching Autumn Accents Bigz Die for this page. It's hard to see but I sponged the entire page with Soft Suede, it was just too white for my taste. Here is a closeup of the leaves I used.  Look at the Old Olive leaf, I used the Spider Web Embossing Folder on it.  I Love it!!!!!  Didn't it turn out fabulous??!!!  Doesn't take much to excite me does it?  lol
