Snowman Gift Card Holder

Hello!  This is my version of a snowman gift card holder.  I've seen a few around and just had to make one of my own.  We give a lot of gift cards for Christmas so I love finding cute little ways to package them.

Isn't he cute?  I used the smallest Envelope Liner Framelits Die to make the base and hat.  The eyes were made using the smallest Circle Framelit, the for the mouth I used a hole punch and the nose was cut freehand.  The star is from the Circle Thinlits set.

For the base I folded a 4 1/4" x 6 1/2" piece of Whisper White card stock and placed the folded edge just inside the left edge of the framelit and then ran it through my Big Shot.  I placed a scrap piece of Basic Black card stock just on the top part of the framelit to be used for his hat.
After I cut the base I trimmed off the smaller top part on one half.  Here's what the cut out pieces look like.  I Glued the Whisper White piece on bottom and right edge to form a pocket.

Here's the front/back views.  We made these at my Make & Take earlier this month too.  The gift card fits perfectly.  I used the Stampin' White Chalk Marker on his eyes.  Love this marker!!!  The to/from stamp is from the Stamp a Tag Kit in the Holiday Mini.

Supplies
Paper:  Whisper White, Basic Black, Daffodil Delight, Pumpkin Pie
Ribbon:  Cherry Cobbler 1/2" Seam Binding
Extras:  Big Shot, Envelope Liner Framelits, Circle Framelits

Last Two Pages

Hi!  Well, this is it...the last two pages of the baby scrapbook I have to share with you.
Here is the first page in the book.  I love the Oh, Whale! stamp set and was sorry to see it retire.  I made the waves using three strips of paper that I punched with the Scallop Edge Border punch and then sponges the edges with Basic Gray ink.  The eye is one of the Candy Dots.
Here's the last page.  I really like the look of having little square photos on a page.  Can't you just picture four cute little baby faces on here?  Well, that's it.  I have offered to help to add the photos to the book and provide more embellishments once the photos are all in place.

Thanks for stopping by today.  I have a lot of Christmas cards to be posted next stop by and check them out!

My Favorite Page!

Hello!  This is my favorite baby page of all!
I kept both pages together and glued the tree and grass pieces onto them both and then used my big paper cutter to cut them apart after it was dry.
The tree, grass and clouds (leaf part of tree) were cut using Sizzix Dies.  I used the Owl Builder Punch to make the owl.  Don't you just love it??!!  The little hair bow was made by gluing two little hearts togetherand then I added a little pearl.  I ran the tree through my Big Shot in the Woodgrain Embossing Folder, love that texture.

I have just two more pages to show you...the first and last ones.  The photo I took of the first page is  blurry so I've asked my friend to bring the book into work so I can photograph it again, it may take awhile to coordinate that.  I will then be sharing my Christmas cards and crafts I've been working on.

Have a wonderful day!

Two More Pages

Hello!  Here are a couple of more pages for you to view.
This looks orange on my computer, but it is Calypso Coral.  I used the Hearts a Flutter stamp set and coordinating Framelits to make the banners.
I love, love, love this page.  The Whisper White strips on the sides were punched with a non SU punch.  The flowers were punched with the Boho Blossoms punch and I used Pearl Basic Jewels for the flower centers.

Thanks for stopping by!!!  Happy Friday!  WooHoo!  It's been a long week for me.

Two More Scrapbook Pages

Hi!  Here's a couple more pages of the baby scrapbook...
I love this page!  I used a sponge and some ink to color the background. The alligator was stamped half  on one page and half on the other.  :)
Gotta have a couple of pages for some cute little girls smiles!

That's it for today...just a few more to share!

Two More Baby Scrapbook Pages

Hello!  Here are a couple of more pages for you to view...
Since my friend is not a scrap booker I've kept the pages simple, plus I always like the photo to be the main focus; I cannot stand pages with so many embellishments that I can't find the photo.  I gave her some journaling pieces to jot notes on and add after the photos are mounted.
I love the simplicity of this page.

Thanks so much for stopping by today!

8 x 8 Baby Scrapbook pages

Hello!  I recently made an 8" x 8" baby scrapbook for a co-worker.  It was so much fun to make and I wanted to share it with you.  I will not be posting all the specific details, so if you have any questions  just drop me a note.  Most, but not all of the supplies were Stampin' Up!.  Some have been retired for years and other are still available in the current catalog.   Here are the first pages...
I love this page!  I used the Typeset Alphabet Bigz Die and my Big Shot to make the letters.  FYI - the hand stamp is not Stampin' Up!
These two page were fun to make.  My friend does not like pink, but she does like coral so I thought this DSP was perfect.
Here's a close up.  I used the Artisan Label and Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border punches.

Well, that's is for today.  Come back on Monday to see the next two pages!

Fall Field Flowers Birthday

Hello!  Here's the birthday card I made for the co-worker who got the cookies from my last post.  I really, really loved how this card turned out!
After stamping the flower I ran the 4" x 5 1/4" piece of Very Vanilla card stock through my Big Shot in the Square Lattice folder.  The card looked a little plain so I added the "celebrate" banner.  This picture really does not do this card justice; so, you'll just have to take my word for it that it looked really nice!  lol

Supplies:
Stamp Sets:  Field Flowers, Gorgeous Grunge, Express Yourself
Paper:  Very Vanilla, Old Olive
Ink:  Old Olive, Crushed Curry, Cajun Craze
Punch:  1" Square (for the banner)
Extras:  Big Shot, Square Lattice Folder

Thanks for stopping by today!

Fall Cookie Package

Hello!  I needed a little gift for a co-worker the other day so I wrapped up some homemade peanut butter cookies.  I love that I can use my Stampin' Up! supplies to make any size package that I need!!
I love how cute this turned out!  I must admit that I was doing this at 5:30 in the morning and my first thought was to make a cover using Window Sheets; however, after wrecking two sheets I decided to give up and use a cellophane bag instead!  lol
I cut a 6" x 9" DSP and scored all sides at 1 1/2" and added some Sticky Strip to hold it together.
Some 1/4" strips of Chocolate Chip card stock was crumpled to use for filler.
Here's a view of the leaves. If I would have had more time (and if I thought of it) I would have sponged the edges of the leaves, I did use my Bone Folder to curl up the edges though!  The Chocolate Chip ribbon has been retired...I'm using it more now than when it was current!!  Yep, I'm a ribbon hoarder too.  lol

Supplies:
Paper:  Sweater Weather DSP, Chocolate Chip
Tools:  Simply Scored, Big Shot, Autumn Accents Bigz Die
Extras:  6" x 8" Cellophane Bag, Chocolate Chip Ribbon, Glue Dots

Totally Different Calm Christmas

Hi!  Today's post was made with the Calm Christmas stamp set, but looks totally different than Thursday's post.  I like them both and I have a couple more to share later on.  This is the stamp set my Mom chose for her Christmas cards this year.  I make a few samples and then she picks which one she wants to make for her annual card and we get together to make them...this is one of my most favorite holiday traditions.  I'll show you all the one she chose after she gets them all mailed out...you're gonna like it!
I used the Circles Collection Thinlits to cut out the two circles.  The Old Olive layer was embossed with the Square Lattice folder.

Supplies:
Stamp Set:  Calm Christmas, Snow Day (snowflake)
Paper:  Cherry Cobbler, Old Olive, Whisper White
Ink:  Cherry Cobbler & Basic Black pads, Old Olive Marker
Extras:  Big Shot, Circles Collection Thinlits, Square Lattice Folder

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Oh So Succulent Shadow Box

Hello!  Since Easter is over I decided it would be a good idea to change my shadow box. When I saw the Succulent Garden Suite in the Occasio...
