Hello!  I loved this week challenge...yummy! lol

I'm still not sure what I think of my card.  I ruined so many sheets of Whisper White card stock trying to  stamp colored polka dots only it just never worked out.  So, I decided to go with a different background.
This is supposed to be a bowl of ice cream with a scoop of vanilla and strawberry with chocolate syrup, whip cream and a cherry on top.  I used Pool Party for the card base and ink dots.  The ice cream was cut using the Circle Framelits and my Big Shot.  The chocolate topping was cut using the largest (scalloped) Oval Framelits.
Supplies Stamp Set: Express Yourself  Paper:  Crumb cake, Whisper White, Blushing Bride, Chocolate Chip, Pool Party Ink:  Blushing Bride, Pool Party Punches:  Word Window, Modern Label, 3/4" Circle, Boho Blossoms Big Shot:  Circle Framelits, Oval Framelits

So Very Grateful Thank You

Image
Hello, I made another card similar to this awhile ago (it had some pearls and embossing on it though), but I needed a thank you card and I liked the first one so much that I decided to make another. I cut the banner out by hand using my Paper Snips and mounted it with Dimensionals.  The 2012-2014 In Color Markers were used to color the stamp and I used Gumball Green for the card base along with Raspberry Ripple for the banner.

Hello!  Today the DOstamperSTARS challenge was a fabulous sketch and it worked out perfect for this birthday card.
I think my friend will get a chuckle out of this sentiment from the Just Sayin' stamp set.  I love the coordinating Word Bubble Framelits Dies.  The party hat was cut out from one of the sheets from the  Birthday Basics DSP.

Now, for my favorite part of challenge Thursday, pop on over to my fellow STARS blogs, I'm sure they have some terrific cards to share again this week.

Happy Mother's Day

Image
Hi!  Today I am sharing the card I made for my Mom for Mother's Day. I used the Spiral Flower Die to make the Calypso Coral and Rose Red flowers.  I wrapped a couple of Tea Lace Paper Doilies around the flowers and tied them with some Calypso Coral Baker's Twine.  The leaves were cut using the Secret Garden Framelits.
Here's a different view which shows one of the stamps from the Work of Art stamp set (I can't stop using this set!!) that I used to decorate the card base.

Supplies
Stamp Sets:  Work of Art, Family Reunion
Ink:  Marina Mist
Paper:  Marina Mist, Wild Wasabi, Whisper White, Calypso Coral, Rose Red
Big Shot:  Spiral Flower Die, Secret Garden Framelits, Banner Framelits

Hello!  It's another color challenge with the DOstamperSTARS today!  I love color challenges, especially when they include colors that I normally don't work with.  Crushed Curry is one of those that I just don't think to use very often, and I must say I love it paired with Midnight Muse!  Here's my entry...
It's hard to tell what this is from the top, but it's the brand new Hamburger Box!!!  I love the size, this one is empty, but I bet you could fit a lot of candy in it!  lol  The die also includes two tags.
Here's the view from the side.  The stamp set I used is called Work of Art that will be in the new catalog along with the die.
Here's a close up of the tag.  With the watercolor image I used Crushed Curry ink, stamping off once, for the words I used Midnight muse ink.

Work of Art Sneak Peak

Image
Hello!  Last week when I attended the 2014-2015 Catalog Premiere we all received a new stamp set called Work of Art.  It is going to be a fun stamp set to use.  Here's the first card that I made using it.
During one presentation they taught us a fun technique to use with the zig zag stamp - use a marker to  color one zig zag line then stamp off, color the second and stamp off again, color the third and stamp onto your card stock.  That is what I did on this card, doesn't it look cool?  I used my Banner Framelits to cut the banner, then I stamped on it, added the ribbon and the Pistachio Pudding fringed piece, and finally I mounted it with Dimensionals.

Supplies
Stamp Set:  Work of Art
Paper:  Whisper White
Ink:  Pistachio Pudding, Coastal Cabana, Crisp Cantaloupe, Strawberry Slush
Big Shot:  Banner Framelits
Extras:  Crisp Cantaloupe Ribbon, Fringe Scissors, Dimensionals

Hello!  It's Thursday and I have an entry for the DOstamperSTARS challenge.
This card is a sympathy card that I made awhile ago for a male relative that lost his dad. Since I wanted to make a masculine card I thought these colors worked well.  I wrapped some Linen Thread around the banner on the top and tied it with a knot.  I laid the Garden Green and Chocolate Chip pieces next to each other and then stamped the image onto both of them at the same time.
