Gift Bags

Hello!  I still have not been able to stamp much, but I made these two gift bags before my surgery and thought I'd share them with you today.
These are the Chevron Tag a Bag Gift Bags.  The tags I used are from last years catalog. This years tags have some cute little binder clips that come with them and include some of the new In Colors.
Here's a different tag.  The Tea Lace Paper Doilies were cut in half, but you could just fold it over onto the back of the bag as well.  I used the Work of Art stamp set to decorate the tags.

That's it for today.  Hopefully I'll get more stamping done this week.  I am working on a thank you gift for a friend, but it is really slow going!  Wish me luck getting some energy to work.  :)

As always, thank you so much for stopping by, it means the world to me.

Hello!  Here's a quick and easy 3 x 3 inch Thank You card I made.

Stamp Set:  Flower Patch
Paper:  Whisper White
Ink:  Hello Honey, Tangelo Twist, Blackberry Bliss, Mossy Meadow, Lost Lagoon

Thanks a lot for stopping by!

Hello!  It's a DOstamperSTARS Color Challenge.
I decided to make my Father's Day cards using these colors...something very different for me, I usually don't use such bright colors for my masculine cards.  I was pleasantly pleased though.
The tie is from the new Something for Baby set, the other images are the from the Work of Art stamp set.  I made two different versions of this card, the other one did not have the three images stamped in the upper left hand corner, it wasn't quite as bright. :)

Hop on over to my fellow STARS blogs see what they made:

Stamp Sets:  Work of Art, Something for Baby
Paper:  Whisper White, Marina Mist, Real Red, Daffodil Delight
Ink:  Marina Mist, Real Red, Daffodil Delight

Thanks for stopping by today!

Graduation Card

Hello!  Well, my surgery went well, however, I am in a lot of pain and have only managed (barely) to stamp two Father's Day cards (which I will share on Thursday).  This is a Graduation card that I made for one of my nieces a couple of weeks ago and I wanted to share it with you today.

I used the Blue Ribbon and Work of Art stamp sets.  The base is Calypso Coral and I used the Work of Art set to stamp it with same color ink.  The Congrats Grad circle is mounted with Dimensionals and I used the 2 3/8" Scallop Circle punch to punch out the Wisteria Wonder Ribbon.

Stamp Sets:  Work of Art, Blue Ribbon
Paper:  Whisper White, Calypso Coral
Ink:  Calypso Coral, Wisteria Wonder, Wild Wasabi
Punches:  2 3/8" Scallop Circle, 1 3/8" Circle

Thanks for much for stopping by today!

Hello!  It's another DOstamperSTARS Sketch Pad challenge.  I love the simplicity of this one and chose to use one of the new stamp sets called Sea Street.  As soon as I saw this octopus I knew I had to have it! lol  The set has 8 stamps and it includes a stinkin' cute lobster and crab.  :)
I used some of the new In Colors too.  The blue layer is called Lost Lagoon (love that name), the little fish are stamped with Hello Honey, and the Happy Birthday is stamped with Blackberry Bliss.  Couldn't resist having the octopus holding the sign.

Hop on over to my fellow STARS blogs to see their cards:

I am having surgery later today and will be probably not be stamping for the next 2-3 weeks.  I really wanted to have some projects prepared in advance to post, but never got around to making them. Freezing meals and cleaning took precedent over stamping!  Hopefully I'll be stamping again before long - see you then!

Stamp Set:  Sea Street
Paper:  Sahara Sand, Lost Lagoon, Whisper White
Ink:  Lost Lagoon, Sahara Sand, Hello Honey, Blackberry Bliss
Punch:  Word Window
Extras:  Sponge, Exacto Knife

Thank you so much for stopping by!
