DSC#092

Hello!  I loved this Home Sweet Home challenge so much that I pretty much followed it not only with the colors, but the sea life too.
Here's the outside.  I ran the Pacific Point card base through my Texture Boutique Machine in the Decorative Dots embossing folder (this pattern reminds me of water bubbles).  I stamped on a piece of Whisper White card stock with images from the By the Tide, Sea Street and Work of Art stamp sets.  I lightly sponged the entire piece with Tempting Turquoise ink when I was done stamping.
On the inside I followed the same pattern by stamping on Whisper White and also adding the small banners.  Love, love, love the new Age Awareness stamp set...what a cheery "Happy Birthday". The swirls also reminded me of water so it kind of matches my sea theme.

Take some time and hop on over to see what great cards my fellow stars made:

Supplies
Stamp Sets:  Age Awareness, By the Tide, Sea Street, Work of Art
Paper:  Whisper White, Pacific Point, Real Red, Tangerine Tango, Daffodil Delight, Old Olive,
             Tempting Turquoise
Ink:  Pacific Point, Real Red, Tangerine Tango, Daffodil Delight, Old Olive, Tempting Turquoise
Punch:  Banner
Big Shot: Decorative Dots Embossing Folder

Thanks for stopping by, have a great day!

To the Newlyweds

Hello!  I want to wish a happy wedding day to my niece Casey, and her husband, Eric.  Casey made all  of her bouquets and centerpieces for her wedding using burlap ribbon and plum flowers (I'm sure there was more, but that's all I can remember from the quick peek I got. :) ) so I wanted to match her theme (well, try anyway).  Here's what I came up with...
To some people a card is a card.  To me it is something that I really put thought into, and luckily this turned out just like I hoped it would.  I hope they like it!  :)  I cut the flowers and the banner out by hand with my Paper Snips.  The leaves and the oval below were cut out using my Big Shot and some Framelits.
I almost never show the insides of my cards for some reason, but here's this one.  Love this sentiment!

Supplies:
Stamp Sets:  Cheers to Love, Everything Eleanor
Paper:  Perfect Plum, Crumb Cake, Garden Green
Ink:  Perfect Plum, Crumb Cake
Big Shot:  Ovals Collection Framelits, Lovely Lace Embossing Folder, Retired Leaf Framelit
Ribbon:  Retired

Thank you so very much for stopping by!

The Final Pages

Hello!  Here are the last pages of this mini album...
Both the left and right side pages are the same.  I used the 1 3/4" & the 1 1/4" Scallop Circle punches to make the flowers.  It's hard to see, but I cut between each scallop to give it some dimension.
Sorry, this is blurry!  Once again the layout is the same for both sides.  I used the Boho Blossoms punch and the 1/8" mini brads to make the flowers.
This is the left side. Yikes, this is blurry too...I made this pretty early on after my surgery so I had a hard time standing to take the photos.
This is an envelope between these last two pages...ahhh it's a clear photo! lol
The final page.  I used the new Something for Baby stamp set and the coordinating Baby's First Framelits Dies to decorate these pages and the envelope.

Thanks for stopping by, hope you enjoyed this mini album!

A Few More Mini Pages

Hi, here's a few more pages of my mini album for you to view...
I made both of the left and right side pages the same using the Perfect Pennants stamp set with this envelope in-between them...
I love making the envelopes so people can stick mementos or extra photos in them.  The Daffodil Delight piece was stamped with the Daydream Medallions stamp set and cut out with the Floral Framelits Collection and my Big Shot.
Love, love, love this Work of Art page...and this one too...

Well, that's it for today. Thanks so much for stopping by!!!

Another Mini Scrapbook

Hi.  We are taking a week off from the DOstamperSTARS challenge so I thought I would share this mini scrapbook that I made for a friend.
Here's the cover.  I used the Flower Patch stamp set along with the coordinating Flower Fair Framelits to decorate it.
These two pages were made with the Zoo Babies stamp set and the Fringe Scissors.  The leaves at the top of each page were punch with the Bird Builder Punch.
I mounted the monkey with a Dimensional and stamped a second elephant ear to glue on so it would stick out.
Here's a butterfly page (both side are the same) using the Papillon Potpourri stamp set along with Elegant and Bitty Butterfly punches.

Well, that's it for today.  I'll share a few more pages on Saturday, see you then!

Flower Patch Grid Journal

Hello!  Stampin' UP! came out with these new mini Grid Journals this year and I love them!  The decorating possibilities are endless and you can make them for everyone.  Here's one I made for one of my stamping buddies...
I used the Flower Patch stamp set and the coordinating Flower Fair Framelits to decorate the cover.  The white polka dots were made using the Whisper White Craft Pad, a sponge and the one of the new Decorative Masks.  It was easy peasy to do and I love the look.

These little books measure 3 1/2" x 5 1/2".  Here's a picture of the inside.

Supplies
Stamp Set:  Flower Patch
Ink:  Melon Mambo, Old Olive, Elegant Eggplant, Whisper White
Big Shot:  Flower Fair Framelits
Extras:  Kraft Grid Journals, Decorative Masks, Linen Thread, Wood Button (retired)

Thanks so very much for stopping by today!

Hello!  As you can see, today is a color challenge for the DOstamperSTARS.  I wasn't too sure about this combo, but I like how my card turned out.  When I showed my son the card the first thing he said was, "I like those colors."  :)
As soon as I saw this new Cupcake Party stamp set I knew I had to have it, and the coordinating punch. (This card was inspired by the sample card in the Stampin' Up! 2014-2015 catalog.)  After I added the 1/2" strips of paper, I thought they looked a little plain, but since they were already glued down so I couldn't do much.  Then I thought about the Age Awareness Photopolymer stamp set, and wouldn't you know it, the words fit perfectly on my strips of paper!!  Since those stamps are completely clear I was able to stamp them on there perfectly!  Yippee!!  That's my kind of stamping!  lol

Supplies:
Stamp Sets:  Age Awareness, Cupcake Party
Paper:  Crumb Cake, Whisper White, Crushed Curry, Coastal Cabana
Ink:  Crumb Cake, Coastal Cabana, Crushed Curry
Punch:  Cupcake Builder

Take some time and hop on over to my fellow STARS blogs:

Weren't there some terrific cards this week? I love them all.  Thanks for stopping by!!!!

Flower Patch Hardwood

Hi!  A couple of years ago I decided not to purchase anymore background stamps.  Whenever I did, I really never used them much.  Well, after seeing so many beautiful cards made using the Hardwood background stamp, I broke down and bought it!  Boy, am I glad I did!!
Here's a thank you card that I made for my parents.  I loved the way it turned out.  :)  The words are from the Work of Art stamp set.  The flowers in the lower right hand corner, and the leaves in the lower left corner, were stamped onto the card after the Hardwood was stamped.  The rest of the flowers and leaves were stamped on a different piece of Whisper White and then cut out using the coordinating Flower Fair Framelits.

Supplies
Stamp Sets:  Flower Patch, Hardwood, Work of Art
Paper:  Whisper White, Rose Red
Ink:  Smokey Slate, Mossy Meadow, Crushed Curry, Elegant Eggplant, Rose Red
Punch:  Artisan Label
Big Shot:  Flower Fair Framelits
Extras:  Crushed Curry Candy Dots

Thank you so much for stopping by!!!

Oh So Succulent Shadow Box

Hello!  Since Easter is over I decided it would be a good idea to change my shadow box. When I saw the Succulent Garden Suite in the Occasio...
