Lovely Lace Wedding

Hello!  This is my last wedding card of the summer.  I made this one for my cousin Kathleen.  I actually was inspired by a DOstamperSTARS challenge, a couple of months ago, that I was not able to participate in because of my knee surgery.

I cut the embossed layer down to 3 3/4" x 5" then ran it through my Big Shot with the smallest of the Oval Framelits.  Next, I put the piece into the Lovely Lace Embossing Folder and ran it through my Texture Boutique Machine.  I didn't have a gold stamping pad so I used my Gold Stampin' Dazzle Marker on the stamp. It worked just fine in a pinch!

Supplies
Stamp Set:  Label Love
Ink:  Gold Stampin' Dazzle Marker
Paper:  Whisper White, Gold (retired)
Big Shot:  Ovals Framelits Dies, Lovely Lace Embossing Folder
Punch:  Boho Blossoms
Extras:  Pearl Basic Jewels

Thanks for stopping by!

Endless Wishes Petite Cafe' Gift Bag

Hi!  I love these new poly-lined (food safe) Petite Cafe' Gift Bags!!!  They are so fun to decorate and will be perfect to hold holiday gifts.
The bags measure 3 1/2" x 2 1/2" x 8" and you get 10 for $5.95.  I used White Craft ink and the Endless Wishes stamp set to decorate the bang and the tag.
The tag base is made using a sheet from the Trim the Tree Designer Series Paper Stack.  I punched it out with the Scalloped Tag Topper punch.  I stamped with Cherry Cobbler and Mossy Meadow inks.

Kinda Eclectic Mini Notebook

Hello!  I had a couple of people ask me how I made the mini notebook I shared on Thursday's blog posting so I thought I'd make a tutorial so you can see how easy it really was.
First, I removed the spiral wire from the notebook. (I used a needle-nose pliers to straighten out the end that was twisted in.)  Next, I cut a piece of Crumb Cake card stock 4" x 6" and applied Multipurpose Liquid Glue to one side. Then I placed it on top of the notebook cover and pressed firmly.  You could use a Bone Folder too.
I used my Paper Snips to cut off the square corners.
The next thing I did was to take my 1/8" paper punch and punch out the holes in the card stock using the original cover as my guide.
I stamped the cover before putting the notebook back together, this way the wire doesn't get in the way of stamping!  I used the Kinda Eclectic stamp set with Crumb Cake and Blackberry Bliss inks.
Here's the finished notebook.  I punched out a Blackberry Bliss butterfly using the Elegant Butterfly punch.  I stamped the little one with Blackberry Bliss ink onto Very Vanilla card stock and punched it out with the Bitty Butterfly punch.  The leaves were stamped onto Very Vanilla card stock with Mossy Meadow ink and cut out by hand. I stamped the image twice so the second one is lighter.
Here's a close up of the butterfly, I used a short piece of Linen Thread to make a bow.  Everything was glued on using the Multipurpose Liquid Glue, it's by far my favorite adhesive.  :)

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have fun making your own mini notebook!

DSC#095

Hello!  Loved the colors in this weeks challenge.  I decided to use the 2014-2016 In Colors for my project.
So, I found these great 4 x 6 inch 50 page notebooks at Walgreens this week 7/$1.00.  What a deal!  Just couldn't pass that up, and they are so fun to decorate!  I cut a piece of Lost Lagoon card stock the same size as the cover and used my Multipurpose Liquid glue to attach it.  Then I stamped it with a couple of stamps from the Gorgeous Grunge stamp set using Mossy Meadow and Lost Lagooon ink.  Next, I used Chocolate Chip, Hello Honey and Tangelo Twist inks with my new Fall Fest stamp set.  Look how nice they are cut out...that's because this set has matching Framelits!!!!  Yep, they're called Fun Fall Framelits Dies, boy do they save a lot of cutting time.  I used the Liquid Glue to attach these as well.
Here's a close up, I took three strips of Linen Thread, tied them into a bow and glued it onto the leaves.  This project took me all of 10 minutes, super quick and easy!  I plan on making more to give as little gifts.

Hop on over to my fellow stars blogs and see what they'e made:
(I have an all day meeting that starts early, so I may not get the links posted until Thursday evening)
