September Paper Pumpkin Kit

Hello!  I finally subscribed to Paper Pumpkin, I just couldn't resist when I got a sneak peak at the September kit.  The thing is, I just am not sure if I will like not having control over what is sent to me each month!  I'm giving it a try, I figure that with the holidays coming up that the kits are sure to be fun.
Here's what came in the kit.  I loved the little burlap bags, they are super cute and will hold quite a bit of candy too!  Everything you need was included. They also sent some directions that included photos of how to decorate each one.
This is the first one I made.
Here's the second.  I used my own Blackberry Bliss ink and decided to glue the sequins onto the tag.  Aren't they cute? Now, I only hope that I will be able to give them away.  I'm such a hoarder! lol

I'm sure I'll share the other four once I get them done.  Have a wonderful day and thanks for stopping by!

Hello!  This week we are celebrating the 100th DOstamperSTARS Thursday Challenge!  Each participant will be giving away Blog Candy!  WooHoo!  Be sure to leave a comment before midnight on Sunday to be entered in my drawing. I will announce the winner sometime on Monday.

I decided it was about time to get going on my Christmas cards, here's what I made using this sketch.
The DSP is from the Trim the Tree paper stack found in the 2014 Holiday catalog.  I punched out the oval in the top half using my Extra Large Oval punch.  I used images from the Holiday Home stamp set and used markers to color the snowman.  I must say this was a challenge in's one small stamp!
The banner is from the retired Petal Cone Die, but it would be easy enough to make one using your paper trimmer and a scoring tool.
Here's my blog candy...If you win, I will send you the supplies you need to make a couple of these cute little boxes.  (You must live in the United States in order to participate.)

Don't forget to leave comments on my fellow STARS blogs as well to enter their giveaways, good luck!

Stamp Set:  Holiday Home
Ink/Markers:  Garden Green, Cherry Cobbler, Basic Black, Early Espresso
Paper:  Whisper White, Cherry Cobbler, Trim the Tree DSP Stack
Punch:  Extra Large Oval
Big Shot: Petal Cone Die

Autumn Leaves Gift Bag

Hello!  I shared my sister's birthday card on Thursday and now I have a gift bag to share as well.
I love buying gift bags and decorating them myself.  The stamping is not perfect, but I did the best I could and wanted to share it anyway.  :)  I should have tried using my Stampin' Pierce Mat!  Oh, well, live and learn.
Here's a close up of the leaf tag I made.  These could also be stamped or embossed, today I was in a "plain" mood, so I left them alone.  :)  These photos really do not do this bag justice, it's much prettier in person.

Stamp Set: Wonderfall (retired)
Ink:  Old Olive, Rich Razzleberry, Pumpkin Pie, Chocolate Chip
Paper:  Old Olive, Rich Razzleberry, Pumpkin Pie, Chocolate Chip
Big Shot:  Autumn Accents Bigz

Hello!  It's  been a couple of weeks since I've participated in the challenge, but I could not pass up this one, I love these colors!!!!
This card was made for my sister's birthday which is on Sunday.  I'm pretty sure she doesn't look at my blog so I felt pretty safe posting it!  Happy Birthday Lynn.
I love the acorn!  I just stuck the top into the embossing folder before running it through my Texture Boutique Machine.  Kind of wish I would have thought to sponge the edges before I glued them on, oh well.

Autumn Accents Wall Art

Hi!  As soon as I saw the new 2014-2016 In Colors I thought about fall.  This morning I made this decoration for my wall using those colors and the Autumn Accents Bigz Die.  I'm thoroughly pleased with how it turned out and have to say it looks nice hanging in my foyer!

I cut four of each leaf (except for Mossy Meadow I cut five).  Then I stamped on some with the Gorgeous Grunge stamp set, the others were run through the Big Shot in an Embossing Folder.  The acorns were sponged on the edges.

As you can see in the photo above, I cut a 2" x 6" piece of chip board to use for my base.  I rounded the corners and punch a 1/4" hole in the top.  I squirted some Multipurpose Liquid glue onto the base and started applying the leafs.  The acorns were attached with a Dimensional.
This photo shows the colors and embossing a little better.
Stamp Set:  Gorgeous Grunge
Paper:  Blackberry Bliss, Hello Honey, Mossy Meadow, Tangelo Twist
Ink:  Mossy Meadow, Tangelo Twist
Big Shot:  Autumn Accents Bigz Die, Decorative Dots & Square Lattice  (retired) Embossing folders
Extras:  Natural & Old Olive Two-Tone Trim, Dimensionals, Sponge, Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Holiday Home Tag Card

Hello!  I made my first Christmas card the other day and I have to say I'm pretty pleased with the way it turned out.

I used the Holiday Home stamp set.  This set is awesome, it is very versatile.  I'm hoping to get my act together and use it to make a Halloween card soon.  I stamped the house onto Whisper White card stock with Momento Ink, cut it out using the matching Framelits, then colored it in with markers.  The Old Olive and Cherry Cobbler markers were Blendabilities (alcohol ink).  I really like the Old Olive Trim and the new stapler!  All of these products can be found in the Holiday Catalog.

Stamp Set:  Holiday Home
Ink:  Momento
Markers:  Old Olive & Cherry Cobbler Blendabilities, Crushed Curry & Basic Gray Stampin' Write
