Painted Petal Birthday

Hello!  Here's a quick post showing another  birthday card that I made for a friend using the Painted Petals stamp set and coordinating DSP.  I'll share the matching mini notebook I made in a couple of days.
The greeting is from the Butterfly Basics stamp set.

Thanks for stopping by and enjoy the rest of your weekend.

Cheerful Critters Birthday

Hello!  I made this birthday card for my Mother-In-Law earlier this month.  These little critters are so cute!
I used both Blendabilities and Stampin' Write markers to color in the images.  The balloon is from the From the Herd stamp set.  Isn't the Painted Blooms DSP bright and cheery?!

Painted Petals Birthday

Hello!  Today I am sharing the card I made for my mom's birthday.  It was inspired by a card I saw on Stampin' Connection made by Cheryll Steinke.  I am using two new sets from the 2015 Occasions Catalog.
This is called a "side step card".  Visit Splitcoaststampers for the directions. I love the coordinating DSP (on the left panel), every sheet is beautiful!  I was really, really happy how this card turned out!!
Here's a view looking down from the top.

Stamp Sets:  Painted Petals, From the Herd (Words)
Paper:  Pacific Point, Whisper White, Wild Wasabi, Painted Blooms DSP
Ink:  Pacific Point, Wild Wasabi
Big Shot:  Ovals Framelits

Hello! Loved this Valentine sketch for today's challenge, it's so cheery!  I decided to make a berry basket to hold these beautiful looking cookies!
I used Real Red card stock to make the body of the basket and a Basic Black for the trim along the top. My Hearts Border punch worked perfectly for punching out some cute little hearts on the trim piece and I used my Handheld Stapler to attach it.  I thought this image from the Hey, Valentine stamp set was perfect on the front.  I used Blendabilities to color in the bird.
Check out the beautiful cards that my fellow stars have made:

Mini Treat Bags

Hi!  I love this little treat bag that I made using the Mini Treat Bag Thinlits Dies.  Once again the possibilities are endless using this die and it goes together really fast.  I'm going to make these for every holiday!
The finished size is 3 11/16" x 5 1/4", perfect for a little treat!  It comes with a lot of pieces for decorating your bag too!  I used some of the Best Year Ever DSP from the Sale-A-Bration catalog to make this one.

Big Shot:  Mini Treat Bag Thinlits Dies
Paper:  Best Year Ever DSP (2015 Sale-A-Bration) Sahara Sand Calypso Coral, Coastal Cabana
            Crushed Curry

Hello!  I finally had some energy and made a card for this weeks STARS challenge.  This sketch was a big motivator, that and Valentines Day will be here before you know it!  Here's my card:
As soon as I saw the new stamp set Hey, Valentine (2015 Occasions Mini) I just had to have it.  One of the boys I work with just happened to put on an eye patch and said "Hey, matey" a day or two before I got my catalog. So he's getting one of these Valentines for sure.

Check out my fellow STARS and see what they've created this week:

Stamp Set:  Hey, Valentine
Paper:  Real Red, Whisper White, Night of Navy, Old Olive
Ink:  Memento Tuxedo Black & various Blendabilities Markers
Punch:  1" Sqaure (banner tail), Hearts Border

Thank you so much for stopping by!

Berry Basket

Hello!  Well, I did it, I finally did a little stamping yesterday and played with my new dies.  This cute little basket was made with the Big Shot and the Berry Basket Bigz L Die ($37.95) which can be found in the 2015 Occasions Catalog.
Isn't it cute?  It measures 4" x 4" x 3 1/4".  I used the Best Year Ever DSP and the Coordinating Ribbon and Button that I got for free from the Sale-A-Bration catalog.  It only took me a couple of minutes to make and it went together really easy using a little Fast Fuse Adhesive and my Handheld Stapler.
Here's a view from the top.

The possibilities are endless for this basket. I'm hoping to make a Valentine one soon - after all I have to have something on my counter to hold candy! lol

Paper:  Calypso Coral, Best Year Ever DSP
Ribbon:  Coastal Cabana
Button:  Crushed Curry
Big Shot:  Berry Basket Bigz L Die
Extras:  Fast Fuse Adhesive, Handheld Stapler

Thanks for stopping by and have a "Berry" good day!

December Paper Pumpkin

Hello!  These are some of the cards I made using my December Paper Pumpkin kit.  I goofed up my first one - it really pays to watch the video first! The rest turned out nice and I've already used some of them.
When assembled correctly they are shaker cards!  How fun is that?
The stamp set came with six stamps and enough supplies to make  several cards that say hello, thank you or happy birthday.
I added some banners to these last two cards for something a little different.
That's it for today. Thanks for stopping by!

Hello!  Today starts my favorite time of the year with Stampin' Up!  I love earning free products and this year the choices are outstanding.  For each $50 you spend you get to choose one free item! Take a look at the Sale-A-Bration catalog here.

Another exciting thing happening during Sale-A-Bration is that the three month prepaid subscription to Paper Pumpkin is on sale for $54.85, that's $5.00 off, and you will get to choose a Sale-A-Bration item too!  I'm thinking that I can't pass this offer up.

As if this isn't exciting enough today also is the day that the Occasions Mini catalog launches.  I know I say this often, but seriously, this is my favorite!  There is something for everyone.  I love the Berry Basket Bigz L Die and the Mini Treat Bag Thinlits Die.  The stamp sets are awesome, I want them all! lol  Take a look at the catalog here.

I haven't been stamping since my surgery, but my goal is to get something posted this week with one of the new stamp sets from the new Mini.

If you are interested in placing an order email me at and we can set up a time to talk and get it taken care of for you.

Snow Day Shadow Box

Here's my last craft project that I made for this holiday season.  This snowman was in a retired stamp set called Snow Day.
I stamped him with Versa Mark and then used white embossing powder and my heat tool. The snow is torn pieces of Whisper White with the edges brushed with a 2-Way Glue Pen and sprinkled with Dazzling Diamonds Glitter.
Here's a close up of the snowman before I framed him.  The stocking, hat and star were mounted with little pieces of Dimensionals.  I colored rhinestone jewels with the darkest Night of Navy Blendabilities marker.

Thanks for stopping by.  I hoping to get back into the swing of stamping soon so I can show you some of the new stuff coming out in the Occasions Mini catalog.
