Hello!  I have to admit that I wasn't too sure about this weeks sketch, but boy do I like how my card came out!!
I inked the flower image with my Blushing Bride stamp pad first, then I rolled the edges of the stamp onto my Rose Red pad.  The edges of the Rose Red scallop were sponged with Blackberry Bliss ink.
I even got a little energetic this week and stamped on the back of my envelope!

Stop on over and check out my fellow STARS blogs:

Butterfly Basics Birthday Card

Hello!  Here's the card I made for my sister-in-law, Louise, for her birthday last week.
I decided that since it has been so cold I would use my 2013-2015 In Colors which make me think of spring and warmer weather.  This stamp set is so fun to work with!

Stamp Set:  Butterfly Basics
Paper:  Pistachio Pudding, Crisp Cantaloupe, Coastal Cabana, Whisper White
Ink:  Baked Brown Sugar, Coastal Cabana, Crisp Cantaloupe, Pistachio Pudding, Strawberry Slush

Hello!  Here's today's color challenge:

I used these colors to make this basket for a friend who earned the Best Year Ever DSP when she placed an order, and I thought she would like to have some butterflies, ribbon and buttons to match her new DSP.
Here's the front of the Berry Basket without the goodies. I sponged the edges of the basket, flower and the butterfly with the coordinating ink.
Here's a view from the top with the things I gave her inside.  I just love the butterflies!!!!

Hi!  I get very excited when I look at our weekly challenge and have an image in my mind of what I want to do and then it comes out exactly like I was hoping it would.  That happened to me this week!!
I used my Big Shot and the two smaller Butterflies Thinlits Dies to make this card.  The little butterflies were made using the Irresistibly Yours Specialty DSP from the Sale-A-Bration catalog (available until 3/331/15). Sponge Daubers were used to apply the ink, the white scalloped lines are embossed so it resists the ink, leaving this pretty pattern.
Here's a view from the side.  I used Dimensionals to attach the top butterflies.  Some bling would be nice on them too, but since I know I will be mailing this card I chose to leave it off.

I can't wait to see what my fellow STARS have been up to this week, check them out:

Paper:  Melon Mambo, Pacific Point, Crushed Curry, Basic Black, Whisper White, Irrestibly
            Yours Speciality DSP
Ink:  Melon Mambo, Pacific Point, Crushed Curry, Wild Wasabi
Big Shot:  Butterflies Thinklits Dies

Hello!  Here's my card for today's DOstamperSTARS Sketch Pad challenge.
I decided to use the fabulous Mini Treat Bag Thinlit and the Typeset DSP to make an envelope for my card.  I used the heart thinlit to make a window in the envelope/bag and sponged the edges of the bag with Cherry Cobbler ink.  Now for the inside that was inspired by the challenge.
First, I used a couple of stamps from the Gorgeous Grunge set and stamped them onto Very Vanilla card stock using Basic Gray ink.  Next, I used the Valentine stamp set that came with January's Paper Pumpkin kit and stamped on top of the first two images with Cherry Cobbler Ink.  I used the little heart strip that  comes with the Treat Bag and cut out a row of hearts at the top and bottom of the base and then used them to decorate the envelope and the card.

Check out what my fellow STARS have been making:

I glued a piece of Painted Blooms DSP to the cover of the notebook and then stamped the image using Pacific Point and  Wild Wasabi ink.  Once again I have to say that it is prettier in person. :)
