Co-Worker Cards

Hi!  I thought I would share some cards that I made for a few co-workers who are retiring.  I forgot to take pictures before I took them to work so I used my cell phone to take the photos - they turned out good, but I couldn't get my copyright image to show up large enough to read.  Oh, well.  What can I say, I'm just not tech savvy.
On this card I used the Mosaic Madness stamp set and coordinating punch.  I made 5" x 7" cards so I was really glad to have the Envelope Punch Board so I could make larger envelopes to hold the cards.  It was a great way to use up my retired DSP too! The Mixed Bunch stamp set and the Blossom Punchwas used for this card - I am sad that both of these items will be retiring this year. I had fun making this card using the Butterflies Thinlits Dies.
That's it for today, thanks for stopping by!

Hello!  It's another DOstamperSTAR challenge day!  I really liked this week photo and knew exactly which stamp set I was going to use.

Now that the Occasions Catalog is coming to an end, I finally used some of the Adventure Bound DSP that I ordered in January! Here's my card: I stamped directly onto the DSP using the The Open Sea stamp set. My Linen Thread ended up looking like a heart on the top, that's ok, because this card is for my husband's birthday!

To You From Me Berry Basket

Hello!  I needed a treat for a friend so I made a berry basket (to hold some chocolate, of course) and a matching 3" x 3" note card to tuck inside. She's a no frills kind of gal, so I kept the basket pretty simple.  I saw somewhere that someone had put bows on hers and thought I'd give that a try.  It turned out pretty cute.
Here's what it looks like with the candy in it.  It really holds quite a bit!
Paper: Soft Suede, Calypso Coral, Pool Party, Sale-A-Bration DSP
Ink:  Soft Suede
Ribbon:  Crushed Curry
Big Shot:  Berry Basket Bigz Die
Punches: Word Window, Modern Label, Bow Builder
Extra:  Handheld Stapler, 6" x 8" Cellophane Bag

Butterfly Basics Birthday

Hello!  I made this card quite awhile ago and thought it was about time to post it!
It was made using the Butterfly Basics stamp set and the Butterflies Thinlets Dies from the Occasions Catalog.  I'm so happy that both of these have carried over into the 2015-2016 Annual Catalog, I'm sure I will use them a lot.
Here's a close up of the butterfly.
I hope you all have a wonderful weekend.  Take a moment to pray for those who have given their lives for our great country.

Gift Bag Punch Board Sneak Peek

Hello!  I got my Stampin' Up! pre-order the other day and I have to say I am lovin' the new Gift Bag Punch Board.

Here are two little gift bags I made using a 10" x 5" piece of DSP for each one.

Here's a view from the top.

I used some retired DSP in case I flubbed making them, but they both came out perfect the first time!  The board can make bags up to 3 5/8" wide and from 4" to 10" tall, all will be 2" deep.  This is one tool I am going to get a lot of use out of!

DSC#132 Cupcake Party

Hello!  It's a DOstamperSTARS color challenge today.  I have to admit that I panicked about this combo, but once I got going I liked it! :-)

Each of the cupcake bases were stamped with the coordinating ink.  For the frosting, I stamped off once so it would be a little lighter shade.  I love how this stamp set has a coordinating punch!
This photo shows how I mounted the frosting with Dimensionals. :-)

Hello!  It's a DOstamperSTARS challenge day today!

I liked the butterflies on these dishes and thought I'd make a Mini Treat Bag using the Big shot and my Papillon Potpourri stamp set.  If I had more energy I would have punched out some butterflies and attached them to the bag too.  Maybe next time!

Head on over to visit my fellow stars and check out their creations:
