DSC#142

Hello!  It's a DOstamperSTARS Challenge day!  Loved this sketch and it worked out perfectly for this graduation card I needed to make.
I used the Crazy About You stamp set and coordinating Flower Medallion punch to make this card.
Here's another view from the bottom.  I used Dimensionals to adhere both the flower and the sentiment.  I really liked these colors together, they're so bright and lively! I even added a rhinestone to give it a little bling!

Check out what my fellow STARS have done with this sketch:

Supplies
Stamp Set:  Crazy About You
Paper:  Bermuda Bay, Whisper White, Cherry on Top DSP
Ink:  Watermelon Wonder, Cucumber Crush, Bermuda Bay
Punch:  Square (for banner ends)
Big Shot:  Arrows Embossing Folder
Extras:  Rhinestone Basic Jewels, Simply Scored

Thanks for stopping by today, and if you have time, stop back this weekend to check out the matching journal I will be posting!  :)

Another June Paper Pumpkin Sample

Hello!  Just a quick post today showing another card I made using the June Paper Pumpkin Kit.
I used a sentiment from the And Many More stamp set.  I also added a Island Indigo center to the flower just to change it up a bit!

Thanks for stopping by!

July Paper Pumpkin Kit

Hello!  I got my Paper Pumpkin kit for July the day before leaving on vacation so I haven't had a chance to post it before now.  I really, really, really liked this month's kit.  (Maybe cuz I love lattes!)
Here's a card made with their directions:

See...isn't it cute?  Next is one where I turned things around a bit and added a couple of banners to the side.

I also stamped the cup onto the front of the envelope.  The set came with three different sayings, I'll share the last one in a few days!

Thanks for stopping by!

Candy Bar Purse

Hello!  One rainy afternoon I came upon France Martin's online class where she was showing how to make this cute little purse.  I thought it was cute, and it just so happened that I needed to make a treat for a friend's birthday, so I cased this...
Here's the front.
Here's the inside.  I wrapped the candy bar in coordinating DSP and made a little card that would fit into the other pocket.
Here's the card. I was able to reuse a stamp from the May Paper Pumpkin Kit!  Love that!

You can check out how to make this project by viewing France Martin's video here.  Thanks for the great idea Frenchie!

Thanks for stopping by!  The DOstamperSTARS challenge will be back in action next Thursday.

June's Paper Pumpkin Alternative Card

Hi!  I made this card quite awhile ago and thought I better get it posted before I show you July's Paper Pumpkin kit!

I took a couple of the envelope liners and cut them into a 1", 1 1/2" and a 2" strip.  Then I punched the ends with the Banner Triple punch.  I used one of the stamps that came in the kit for the flower center for something a little different.

That's it for today!  Thanks for stopping by.

DSC#141 Cottage Greetings

Hello!  We had a color challenge this week. I had no idea what I wanted to do, so I chose a stamp set that I hadn't used much yet and went from there.  It actually came together pretty quick once I got going!

It's hard to see in the photo, but the card base has been embossed.  The images were stamped with Memento Ink and then I used my Blender Pen and ink pads to color the flowers. I really like this stamp set - not only do I like the greetings, but I love the font! It has a matching card kit too!

Stop on over and check out what my fellow stars did with these three colors:

Supplies
Stamp Set:  Cottage Greetings
Ink:  Real Red, Pacific Point, Old Olive
Paper:  Pacific Point, Old Olive, Whisper White, Real Red
Big Shot:  Decorative Dots Embossing Folder, Mini Treat Bag Thinlits (for the bow)
Extras:  Blender Pen, Sponge

Thanks for stopping by.  Due to the Stamping' Up! Convention next week we will not be having our blog hop - we'll see you the following week.

Crazy About You Pinwheel Card

Hello!  I made this card last month for a dear friend's birthday after seeing a card made by Dawn Olchefske.
Isn't this fold cute?  You can check out Dawn's video here!  If you are anything like me, once you watch it, you'll want to make one yourself! The possibilities are endless with this design.
Here's a view without the belly band.
Here's the inside of the card.  I used the Crazy About You stamp set with some retired DSP.

That's it for today, thanks for stopping by!

Sprinkles of Life Bookmark

Hello!  Just a quick post today sharing a bookmark that I made for a co-worker using the Sprinkles of Life stamp set.
Not only is this stamp set cute, but for everyone sold, Stamping' Up! donates $3 to the Ronald McDonald House Charities! All of the paper and inks used are the retired 2013-2015 In Colors. I used the Scalloped Tag Topper punch on the top of the bookmark.

Thanks for stopping by!

Oh So Succulent Shadow Box

Hello!  Since Easter is over I decided it would be a good idea to change my shadow box. When I saw the Succulent Garden Suite in the Occasio...
