Vintage Leaves Wall Decoration

Hello!  I came across this really cool leaf wall decoration while out running errands yesterday and thought...gee, I could do something with that!
Here's what it looked like. Here's what I did to it. I'm not sure I'm done. Something's missing. Anyone have any ideas?? I just love the Vintage Leaves stamp set and the coordinating Leaflets Framelits Dies.  The 2014-2016 In Colors are perfect for fall!
That's all for today, thanks for stopping by!  Leave me a comment if you have an idea on what's missing!

Hello!  Today's challenge is a photo of a lunch box. I decided to make a little different style of lunch box, but stuck with the butterfly theme.
This was made using the Gift Bag Punch Board.  I used a piece of 7 1/2" x 10" piece of Basic Black card stock to make the bag.  Next, I used my Simply Scored Scoring tool to score a line across the top of the bag at 2".  All but one of those sections were cut off, the remaining section folds over the top to form the front flap. Below is a picture of my first try that ended up being too short, but it gives you the idea of what it looks like with all the parts cut off.
I used two 2 1/2" x 4" pieces of Wisteria Wonder card stock stamped with butterflies from the Papillon Potpourri and Watercolor Wings stamp sets to decorate the front and back of the bag.  The small piece on the front flap measures 1 3/4" x 2 1/2".
The black butterfly was made using my Big Shot and the Bold Butterfly Framelits. I used some…
Hi!  I couldn't stand it any longer...I just had to share a Christmas card I made last week!!
Pretty cool if I say so myself!!  I used some more of my Holiday Catalog preorder items.  The Happy Scenes stamp set coordinates perfectly with the Hearth & Home Thinlits Dies. I used my markers to color the image and sponged the sky with Soft Sky ink (I know, it's hard to see it).  I finished using my 2-Way Glue Pen and some Dazzling Diamonds Glitter to add some sparkle to the snow. A piece of Window Sheet was added to the back of the frame so it really looks like a window in person.  Did you notice the DSP behind the widow?  It is beautiful!  I added a bow made with the new Gold Cording Trim.

Stamp Set:  Happy Scenes
Paper:  Mossy Meadow, Whisper White, Home for Christmas DSP
Ink:  Real Red
Markers:  Mossy Meadow, Soft Sky, Early Espresso
Big Shot: Hearth & Home Thinlits Dies
Extras:  Gold Cording Trim, Window Sheets

Thanks so much for stopping by today!!!

Grateful for You Pillow Box

Hi!  As promised, here's the fall pillow box I made.
After using the Square Pillow Box Thinlits Dies and my Big Shot to cut out the box I ran it back through the Big Shot in the Woodland Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. Next, I took a Sponge Dauber and dabbed it on my Chocolate Chip ink pad and then rubbed it gently onto the raised tree image.
Here's a close up of the leaves.  I used the Vintage Leaves stamp set and coordinating Leaflets Framelits to make these.  Aren't they beautiful?  I really need to make a fall wreath using them.
I was thinking that the box was missing something, so I used the A Little Something stamp set to make the "Grateful for You" tag.  The box die comes with the little square to cut a window in the box or  you can use it to make a tag.
One last photo to show you the pillow box from the bottom angle. At the center point it is just over 1" thick. You can fit quite a bit into this cute Pillow Box.

DSC#145 - Howl-o-ween Treat

Hi!  Today's challenge is a sketch and I decided to use some of my new Halloween products to make my card.
How cute is that owl????  Did you check out the spider web doily?  I promised myself that I wasn't going to buy any Halloween stuff this year because I really don't use them much...but honestly how could I pass up the Howl-o-ween Treat stamp set and the coordinating Boo to You Framelits? It has plenty of other great images too - which I will show you closer to Halloween.  I'm thinking that the owl can be used for other things too.

Did you notice the how terrific the black ink on the wand looks?  It's the new Basic Black Archival Stampin' Pad, and let me tell you, I am sold...finally a great black stamp pad!

August Paper Pumpkin

Hello!  I got my August Paper Pumpkin kit yesterday, and actually made three things right away, so I thought I would share them with you today.  The kit came with enough supplies to make 6 cards and 3 boxes.  Here's the box.
Top view. From the side. It is a really nice size. I was telling my good friend Kathy P. that I'm pretty sure our favorite chocolates would fit in there! Here are the cards.
The kit came with several stamps that you can interchange with the projects.  I really liked the white ink on the chalkboard paper.
That's it for today, see you on Thursday for the DOstamperSTARS blog hop! I've been busy stamping and have used more new stuff for the challenge - it's super cute!!

Peaceful Pines Pillow Box

Hello!  I'm so excited to show you my new favorite Stamping' Up! product...the Square Pillow Box Thinlits Dies!!!!  This past week I got my holiday catalog pre-order and let me tell you, I got some great new stuff!  I must admit I was on the fence on whether or not to buy the Pillow Box Die, I have so many little packaging dies and wasn't sure that I needed another one, but I saw a sample and couldn't resist. ;)
Is this beautiful or what???  I actually used another new framelits set too, the Perfect Pines.  I love the smaller pine tree - it says Oh, Christmas Treat!. The pillow box is the perfect size for a gift card and there would even be a little room left over for a candy treat too.  Isn't the paper pretty? It's called Home for Christmas, one page is as pretty as the next.  This will be one pack of DSP that I will use up for sure - at least that's my use it, not hoard it! lol  The Gold Cording Trim is in the Holiday Catalog also, I'm sure …

DSC#144 Butterfly Basics

Hello!  Welcome to another DOstamperSTARS color challenge blog hop. These are not my go to colors, but I was excited to try something new.  I'm happy with my card for two reasons. First, I use a little "bling", not all that easy for me! Second, I wanted to use some layers (and with a little inspiration from the Splitcoaststampers Tutorial of week, I did it!).
I used a sponge and some Old Olive ink to add a little color to the bottom of Whisper White layer.  With my Big Shot and two of the Ovals Collection Framelits I made the mats. Once again I used my retired Blendabilities to color the image and the pearls.

Hop on over to my fellow STARS blogs and see what they did with these three colors:

Hi!  Check out today's photo challenge, isn't it awesome?  It was so fun to make this card!!
I just cannot seem to stop playing with these butterflies this summer.  I knew as soon as I saw the butterfly pillow that I wanted to use these stamp sets and framelits.
Here's a different view showing the butterfly layers.
Flutter on over to see what my fellow STARS made this week:Robyn

From the Herd Birthday Card

Hi!  I had so much fun making this birthday card for my brother-in-law!
I was disappointed that this stamp set was not carried over from the Occasions catalog. Since I was using a retired stamp set I thought I might as well use my discontinued Blendabilities markers to color it as well!

Crazy About You Journal

Hello!  Here is the journal I made to match the graduation card that I posted on this past Thursday.
It's hard to see, but the flowers were all stamped onto Whisper White card stock and then punched out with coordinating punches.  I stamped the leaves directly onto the journal.  This actually looked much better in person!  Just sayin'

Stamp Set:  Crazy About You
Ink: Watermelon Wonder, Cucumber Crush, Bermuda Bay
Paper:  Whisper White
Punches:  Flower Medallion, 1 3/4" Scallop Circle
Extras:  Bermuda Bay Ribbon, Journal (both retired), Rhinestone Basic Jewels
