Happy Halloween!

Image
Hello!  Today I will share the last of my Halloween projects.  The first photo shows a great idea that I got from my fellow DOstamperSTAR Peggy Goetzke.  They are some small treat holders I made using the Envelope Punch board, the Howl-o-ween Treat stamp set, and the Boo to You Framelits Dies.
They are perfect for holding a snack sized candy bar.  Thanks for the great idea Peggy!
I used the Gift Bag Punch Board to make these two bags, along with the same stamp set.  I'm thinking that I will keep on using this owl throughout the year - she's so cute! I can see her holding a heart.
Thanks for stopping by today and happy trick-or-treating!

For today's challenge I made these thin treat bags using my Howl-o-ween Treat stamp set and the Mini Treat Bag Thinlits Dies.   I love the Spider Web Doilies!!  If you want to see how to make the bags check out this Stamping' Up! video here. Two snack sized candy bars fit perfectly in each one! I'm pretty sure that I will be doing something similar to this for Christmas too! You can never have too many treat bags!!
Take a few minutes and check out what my fellow stampers have made this week.RobynSharonMiriamJudyDawn I will add more links asap!

Leaflets Gift Bag

Image
Hello!  I had a Make and Take class yesterday and this gift bag was one of the projects we made.
We used the Gift Bag Punch Board to make the Chocolate Chip bag itself and the Leaflets Framelits with the Big Shot to cut out the leaves.  (The button, ribbon, and the DSP have been retired.) I really like these sturdy little bags...they are perfect for holding many small gift items.

DSC#154 Peaceful Pines

Image
I loved this sketch, but decided to forego the flower and replace it with a Christmas tree!  (I am slowly, but surely getting my Christmas cards done one at a time!) I really like how my card turned out. :) I used the Peaceful Pines stamp set and the coordinating Perfect Pines Framelits Dies to make this card.  The Season of Cheer DSP is really pretty! It's hard to see, but I sponge the Whisper White layer with Soft Sky ink and mounted the one pine tree with Dimensionals.
Check out what my fellow stars have been up to this week:RobynSharonJudyDawnMiriam

Hello! Here's another Snow Place stamp set Christmas card I made.  This one features one of the snowmen.  Look how happy he is that it is snowing! LOL I used Marina Mist for the card base, Whisper White for the snow layer,  and Garden Green for the tree.  His scarf was stamped with Real Red ink and the ear muffs with Garden Green.

That's it for today!  Enjoy your weekend.

Happy Scenes Leaves

Image
Hello!  I saw a great card on Stampin' Connection made by Michele Reynolds that inspired me to make this one.  I turned my leaves and used different colors and embossing folder, but the idea is the same.
What a cool idea she had to stamp the image on the leaf!  I thought this was perfect to use for  fall birthdays. I really love this card!

Paper:  Old Olive, Rich Razzleberry, Pumpkin Pie, Chocolate Chip, Whisper White

Peaceful Pines and Happy Scenes

Image
Hello.  Today I am sharing one the Christmas cards I've made using one of the new stamp sets and two new dies that can be found in the Holiday Mini Catalog. When I was growing up we always had blue tree lights, so I decided to use blue for the bottom layer of this tree.  For the scene outside the window I used markers to color the stamp and then sponged the sky and used Dazzling Diamonds for the snow.  It won't be long until we are looking out our own windows at snow!

Supplies
Stamp Set: Happy Scenes
Paper:  Whisper White, Real Red, Mossy Meadow, Delightful Dijon, Pacific Point, Chocolate Chip
Markers:  Mossy Meadow, Chocolate Chip, Pacific Point
Big Shot:  Perfect Pines Framelits, Hearth & Home Thinlits
Extras:  2-Way Glue Pen, Dazzling Diamonds Glitter, Dimensionals

September Paper Pumpkin

Image
Hello!  Just a real quick post today showing what I made with the September Paper Pumpkin kit.
Isn't this cute?!!  The bag is pretty big so you can fit a lot of candy in there! Here's one more.  The stamp set with this kit is so cute.  You can use it for everything fall!
That's it for today, thanks for stopping by!  My new puppy is keeping me busy, but I really hope I can get some stamping done this weekend. I have to admit I'm getting worried about getting  all my Christmas cards done!  LOL
