Hello.  I knew right away that I would use the Ronald McDonald House Charities stamp set called Sprinkles of Life for this challenge.  The balloon from the Sale-A-Bration set Honeycomb Happiness was perfect to use too! So here's what I came up with first.  I don't know, something about it just wasn't right so.... I went to town adding little splotches everywhere with one of the images from the Timeless Textures stamp set.  I used an Aqua Painter and some ink pads to color in the balloons - I really struggle with this technic, but it went a little better than last time I tired it!

February Paper Pumpkin

Image
Hello!  These cards were made with the February Paper Pumpkin kit.  This kit came with enough supplies to make nine cards. Three each of three different designs.  I pretty much followed the directions for each one of these.
This one is my favorite.  I did change this one a tiny bit by sponging the edges of the banner and adding the leaves. There are a ton of stickers included with this month's kit.  The only thing I stamped on this card is the "thank you", the rest is stickers.  Each card base has some sort of pattern printed on it too. The gold sticker swirl was easy to work with.  I really struggle when using real thread!  I stamped the center of the flower stickers with one of the many stamps that are included in the kit. Look at the envelopes!!!!!  This is my favorite part of this kit. LOL  Aren't they pretty.  Even the inside has some printing on it.
As always, I'm thinking that others will come up with ways to alter these cards.  With some luck, maybe I can…

Hello!  I used today's sketch pad challenge to make a card for one of my sister-in-law's birthday. Except for the card base, all of the products are from this years Sale-A-Bration catalog.  I really like the Flowering Fields stamp set and it's coordinating Wildflower Fields DSP.  The sentiment is from the Perfect Pairings stamp set. I used a Blender pen and my ink pads to color the flower and butterfly.
Stop on by my fellow STARS blogs to see what they did with this challenge:

Happy Valentines Day!

Image
Hello!  I love making Valentine treats for my co-workers and this year they were cuter than ever!!!
Don't you agree?  I made these with the a couple of products from the 2016 Stamping' Up! Occasions Catalog.  The stamp set is call Playful Pals - it includes 50 photopolymer stamps!  Just imagine the possibilities using this set.  It also has a coordinating Thinlits Dies called Pyramid Pals.
Here are a few more.  I can't decide which one is my favorite - they are all so darn cute!
Look at these! As you can see in the photo below, I chose not to seal the back of the pyramid so my friends could easily get to the chocolate I put inside!
I haven't made a card using this stamp set yet, but I'm thinking you can make a lot of cute baby and birthday cards with it.  Scrapbooking would another way to use these two products. (The sentiment on the heart is from last years January Paper Pumpkin set.)

Hello!  Sorry I haven't been posting much lately.  I have been so sick, but finally am on the mend.  Still haven't had any energy to stamp yet though. Getting nervous....I need Valentines! Today's project is an envelope I made last month using the Envelope Punch Board and the beautiful Birthday Bouquet DSP.  Isn't that ice cream cone cute?

It is from one of the Sale-A-Bration stamp sets called Honeycomb Happiness. Speaking of honeycombs, did you notice the center of the ice cream?  The Honeycomb Embellishments can be found in the 2016 Occasions Catalog. They come in three different colors, including white that you can spritz with ink to match any project.  Cool, huh?
That's is it for today.  Hope to see you soon!

January Paper Pumpkin Kit

Image
Hello!  This is what I made with the January Paper Pumpkin Kit...
I hung this banner on my fireplace. The directions were followed pretty closely for this. Here's a close up. Here's the other half. I used the rest of the kit to make Valentines for the class I work with at school.  A lollipop will be attached to the back.  I used the No Bones about it stamp set for the boys.
That's all for today. Thanks for stopping by!
