Botanical Blooms Journal

Hello!  Today I am sharing a journal that I altered using my Botanical Blooms stamp set and the coordinating Botanical Builder Framelits Dies.  (Just a heads up, this DSP was only available this past spring.)

I really wish this picture did this justice.  The paper is beautiful and I like how I was able to stamp on the DSP with the stamps!  Last fall at On Stage we made a smaller version of the Whisper White area and I liked it so much that I was inspired to enlarge it and add more flowers. These journals are fun and easy to make, all you need is some DSP and a stamp set if you desire!

Stamp Set:  Botanical Blooms
Ink:  Cajun Craze, Hello Honey, Mossy Meadow, Mint Macaron, Old Olive
Paper:  Whisper White, Mossy Meadow (retired), Cajun Craze, Mint Macaron, Botanical Gardens
            DSP (retired)
Big Shot:  Botanical Builder Framelits
Extras:  Composition Journal, Multipurpose Liquid Glue

DSC#191 Reason of the Season

Hi!  We have a sketch challenge this week that just screamed Christmas and Reason for the Season at me.  I know I just used this stamp set a couple of weeks ago, but I couldn't resist using it again.

As you can see I stamped one of the poinsettias directly onto the Very Vanilla card base and the other one I stamped onto Cherry Cobbler and Always Artichoke paper and then punched out the petals/leaves with the Festive Flower Builder punch.  The sentiment was punched out using the Decorative Label punch.  The curved edge of the oval piece of Very Vanilla was sponged with Sahara Sand ink.

Here's a close up showing how I traced over the flower petal veins with my Wink of Stella Glitter Brush - love, love, love this product.  It adds a bit of glitter without all the mess!!! I used a Bone Folder to curl up the edges of the poinsettia.

Lets go check out what my fellow STARS have made:

Stamp Set:  Reason for the Season
Paper:  Very Vanilla, Cherry Cobbler, Always Artichoke, Crushed Curry
Ink:  Cherry Cobbler, Always Artichoke, Crushed Curry, Crumb Cake
Punches:  Festive Flower Builder, Decorative Label
Extras:  Wink of Stella Glitter Brush, Dimensionals, Sponge

As always, thanks for stopping by!

All About Everything Note Card #4

Hi!  Well, here the fourth note card for my Christmas project.

On this one I stamped the larger flowers two or three times without re-inking my stamp. The empty spots were filled in with the leaves and small flowers.  I may decide to make another card or two for the pack  it will depend on how I box/bag them, and what kind of room I have. Hope you have enjoyed the note cards.  Maybe this week I will decide how to package them. ;)

Stamp Set:  All About Everything
Ink:  Rich Razzleberry, Bermuda Bay, Old Olive, Daffodil Delight, Tangerine Tango

All About Everything Note Card #3

Hello!  Today I am sharing the third note card from my Christmas gift project.
I liked the single stem flower from yesterday so much that I decided to try it with three on the note card.  It was a little plain for me, so I added more leaves, and then since that still didn't look right, I added some orange flowers! Well, I thought I better stop while I was ahead and leave it at that! LOL

Ink:  Old Olive, Bermuda Bay, Tangerine Tango, Daffodil Delight
Paper:  Note Cards & Envelopes

Thanks for stopping by! Tomorrow I will post card #4.

All About Everything Note Card #2

Hi!  Here's the second note card that I made for my Christmas gift idea.
I stamped the front corner of the envelope on this one.  As you can see I have just a single flower on this one.  I love all four designs - and they came together pretty quick!

All About Everything Thank You #1

Hello!  Today I am sharing a 5" x 3 1/2" note card that I made using the All About Everything stamp set.  (This was a free set that came with the April Paper Pumpkin kit.)

I can't begin to tell you how much I love this set. It was a perfect choice for this note card project I have in mind. I've decided to get a head start on my Christmas gifts - I'm going to stamp a few thank you cards (with coordinating envelopes) and then package them somehow to give as gifts.  I think this will come in handy for my co-workers, they always are in need of thank you notes.  This week I will share the four I have done and hopefully figure out how to package them and share it too!

Samp Set:  All About Everything
Ink:  Daffodil Delight, Old Olive, Rich Razzleberry, Bermuda Bay

Thanks so much for stopping by today - hope you all are keeping cool!

July Paper Pumpkin

Hello!  I already have finished putting together all the little treat boxes in my July Paper Pumpkin kit.  These will be a great little pick me up for my co-workers I think.
Here's what came with the kit.

The kit came with 4 each of two different sized gem shaped boxes and gift tags.

Here's view from the side of the larger box.

Tis is the smaller sized one.

That's it for today, thanks for stopping by!

Thank You Cards

Hi.  I was going through some of my Paper Pumpkin boxes and found some scraps that apparently I just couldn't part with at the time, so I decided to use them up and made a couple of "Thank You" cards.
I used my Endless Thanks stamp, my retired 1 3/4" Scallop Circle Punch, and a note card for this one.  I even stamped on the back of the envelope! All too often I skip this step, which is a shame because it is such a nice touch - and quite frankly not that difficult to do!
On this one I just cut down a couple of the bigger pieces to use, and I even had just the right length of Baker's Twine left to tie a bow! These we a lot of fun to make and I liked the fact that I used all of the supplies in one of my kits.  :)

That's it for today.  Thanks for stopping by!

DSC#189 Jar of Love

Well, if this week's challenge doesn't scream Jar of Love I don't know what does! LOL

I had so much fun making this card!  The Real Red and Wisteria Wonder flowers, jar, and the little leaves were cut out using the coordinating Everyday Jars Framelits. The Crushed Curry flowers were cut out using the Flower Fair Framelits and the larger leaves were fussy cut. I sponged the edges of the card with Soft Sky ink.  I'm lovin' the new Delicate White Doilies.

I used Dimensionals to adhere the flowers. The edges of the Crushed Curry flowers were sponged withe the same color in and I used my bone folder to curl the edges.

Let's go check out what my fellow STARS have made:
Stamp Set:  Jar of Love
Paper:  Whisper White, Soft Sky, Crushed Curry
Ink:  Garden Green, Real Red, Wisteria Wonder, Crushed Curry, Basic Black
Big Shot:  Everyday Jar & Flower Fair Framelits
Extras:  Dimensionals, Thick Baker's Twine (left over from a Paper Pumpkin kit), Delicate White

Thanks for stopping by!  Hope you enjoyed the blog hop.

Bella & Friends Thank You

Hello!  I'm so excited about today's card.  My mom bought me the stamp set Bella & Friends for my birthday and I love it.  This card is for her...thanks Mom!
I used a Blender Pen and ink to color the dog and collar. Isn't that puppy cute?  It really reminds me of my puppy Lucy...
Here she is all decked out for St. Patrick's Day.  I just realized that I need to take some more photo's of her, this isn't the best one, but it shows her ears that look just like Bella's.

Stamp Set:  Bella & Friends
Paper:  Watermelon Wonder, Whisper White, Retired Cherry on Top DSP
Ink:  Basic Black, Basic Gray, Bermuda Bay, Watermelon Wonder

That's it for today.  Thanks for stopping by!!

More June Paper Pumpkin Cards

Hi!  I had some time the other day and made some more cards using my June Paper Pumpkin kit.  Here they are...
For this card I used my retired Circles Framelits to cut out the center hole.  I used a window sheet, a square of Whisper White cardstock and the new Foam Adhesive Strips  and attached it behind the hole to make a shaker card.
For this card I used the Everyday Jar Framelits to cut out the center and then the rest of the supplies listed above.
This card was super easy, I just used one of the pouches from the kit and attached it with the included Washi Tape.  On each of them I used the included Baker's Twine to tie a bow at the top.

Well, that's it.  I've now used up pretty much of the supplies in the kit - that makes me happy! Have a great day!

DSC#188 Reason for the Season

Hello!  I am super excited about this week's challenge!! Mostly because I'm so happy to have one Christmas card made - and it's only July!  Ok, enough about my excitement.  Here's my card...
I like the simplicity of this card, although the Cherry Cobbler base was a little plain so I ran it through the Big Shot in the Woodland Embossing Folder.
I don't often show the insides of my cards, but here it is.  These three colors are perfect with one another, I just might have to make some more!

Let's go check out what my fellow STARS have done, I can't wait!!!

Stamp Set:  Reason for the Season
Paper:  Cherry Cobbler, Garden Green, Very Vanilla
Ink:  Cherry Cobbler, Garden Green, Crushed Curry
Big Shot:  Woodland Embossing Folder, Lots of Labels Framelits

Thanks so much for stopping by today!  On Saturday I will be sharing three more cards I made with the June Paper Pumpkin kit - stop back and check them out!

Candy Wrapper

Hello!  Just a very quick post today featuring some retired Sale-a-Bration items that I used to wrap this candy bar.
I thought this turned out nice and boy was it easy!  My kind of stamping!!

Thanks for stopping by today.  I've been working on another baby scrapbook - pretty excited about this one, so I'll be sharing soon!
