Two More Calendar Pages

Hello!  So, Sale-A-Bration ends on the 31st and I realized that I haven't even shared all of the sets I've earned yet! Yikes! I'm still working on my desk calendar and decided to use a couple of the sets on that.

The Hey, Chick stamp set is so darn cute! I stamped the images with Stazon Ink and colored them in using the new Watercolor Pencils and a Blender Pen. The dirt was applied using a Sponge Dauber.

Here's July. I used the MakeA Medallion set with Cherry Cobbler and Night of Navy ink. Oops, I just realized that I forgot to stamp the center image on the top left medallion. Guess I will have to go back and fix it otherwise it will drive me nuts all of July! LOL

That's it for today. Thanks for taking the time to stop by.

DSC#223 Moon Baby

Hello!  Boy I have to admit that I really, really love my card this week!  It's really nothing fancy, but I love it anyway. :)
So, after  all that build up I have to say that this card is so much cuter in person! LOL  The white squares are mounted with Dimensionals so they really pop when looking at the card. I used the Moon Baby stamp set with Jet Black Stazon ink and color the images in with a Blender Pen and my ink pads.

Thanks so much for stopping by. Hope you enjoyed this week's blog hop!!

March Paper Pumpkin

Hello!  Got my Paper Pumpkin kit for March on Saturday and I have to say that I love it!  I was a little down in the dumps too, so it was extra fun.  Take a look at everything that came with this one.

Oops, I forgot the cute little pompoms. They are the same colors as the Baker's Twine.

You get enough supplies to make 9 of these cute little mini cards.  Love the all the bunny faces that came with the stamp set!

I am all set for Easter. The kit included 9 of these cute little bags too!  They really hold a lot of candy!

Well, that's it for today. Next month we are getting a special Paper Pumpkin that was designed by our CEO, Sara Douglas. I heard it's one that you don't want to miss out on, so sign up today! (I would really appreciate it if you chose me as your demonstrator if you don't already have one.)

Thanks for stopping by!

Tasty Trucks

Hello!  Today I am sharing another Watercolor Pencil project. This time I used the Tasty Trucks stamp set from the 2017 Sale-A-Bration catalog. You can earn this set for free when you purchase $50 on Stampin' Up! products.

I stamped the truck image on Shimmery White Cardstock, added the sentiment and the tacos, got busy coloring it in.
Last time I used a Aqua Painter to finish my project, on this one I used a Blender Pen. You have more control with a Blender Pen, which I happen to like, but I don't think it looks as smooth/blended.
There's a story behind this project.  It was my son's birthday recently and I made this envelope to put some money in for him. On Tuesdays during the sumner months a taco truck comes to his office at lunch time. He loves eating there, so we bought him his first taco lunch of the season. I knew as soon as I saw this set that I had to have it just so I could make him something with it! LOL
That's it for today. Thanks for stopping by!

Today's challenge was a fun one. I've always enjoyed using Watercolor Pencils and I am so glad that SU! has brought them back!
The first thing I did was to stamp my image onto Watercolor Paper with Jet Black Stazon Ink.  I then took an Aqua Painter and some Pool Party ink and colored the background. Next, I colored in the flowers using the Watercolor Pencils. Last I used my Aqua Painter once again to go over where I used the pencils. Here's how my card turned out...
I used the Birthday Blooms stamp set and colored it in with the Old Olive, Daffodil Delight, Pumpkin Pie and Calypso Coral pencils.
Here's something I almost never do...share the inside of the card. I just decided to spruce things up a bit and add a thin watercolored strip to the inside too. I have another Watercolor Pencil project to share in a couple of days, so stop back.

Basket Bunch Calendar Pages

Hello!  Today I have a couple more pages to share that I made for my desk calendar. Since the months were April and May I decided to get some use out of my new Basket Bunch stamp set and coordinating Basket Builder Dies.

Since the 2015-2017 In Colors will be leaving us soon I decided to use them for April.  How cool are these eggs. I just love the delicate top layers, and that basket is just too cute!  My favorite die in the set has to be the grass. It just is fun!!

April Showers brings May flowers!  I stamped the flowers with Basic Black ink and them cut them out using the dies. Easy peasy, but very cute. Looking at these two calendar pages while I'm stamping are just going to cheer me up.

Stamp Set:  Basket Bunch
Paper:  2015-2017 In Colors, Wild Wasabi, So Saffron, Blushing Bride, Soft Sky
Ink:  Basic Black, Watermelon Wonder
Big Shot:  Basket Builder Framelits Dies

That's all for today.  Thank you so very much for stopping by!

DSC#221 Mini Egg Carton

Hello!  Boy was I excited to see this week's challenge.  Stampin' Up! has some cute Mini Egg Cartons that are perfect for this week and I have them! LOL ($8.00 for 8 4"x4"x2 3/4" cartons) I thought the Basket Bunch stamp set and coordinating Basket Builder Framelits Dies were perfect for decorating the carton.
Here's the view from the top. These carton come in a natural creme color so you can color them any color you want.  I mixed some Pool Party ink with rubbing alcohol in a Stampin' Spritzer to color this one. Aren't the grass and eggs fabulous?!
Here's the inside.  I just love this little bunny!  These cartons could really hold a lot of candy if you wanted them to.  As you can see I was able to put in 4 little plastic eggs. I used my Pumpkin Pie and Wild Wasabi markers to color the carrots and a blender pen and ink pads to color the bunny.
These are going to make perfect Easter gifts for family and friends. The decorating possibilities are e…

High Tide Birthday

Hi!  Today is my son's birthday so I wanted to share the card I made for him.

We have happy memories of the many light houses and beaches we have visited during our travels, so I am pretty sure he will like this card.  I used the High Tide stamp set that can be found in the 2017 Occasions catalog.  This set has many possibilities and I am looking forward to making more cards with it. I bet it would be awesome to use on scrapbook pages as well!

After stamping the water and sand I took my Blender Pen and lightly colored over the stamped images to fill the areas in with a little color.  The sky was lightly sponged with Soft Sky ink. The bird is fussy cut and glued onto the card - really had to be carful with those skinny legs!!!

Stamp Set:  High Tide
Paper:  Whisper White, Island Indigo
Ink:  Cherry Cobbler, Island Indigo, Garden Green, Sahara Sand, Soft Suede, Basic Gray, Crushed

That's it for today.  Thanks so much for stopping by!

Baby Scrapbook Time!

Hello!  Over the past couple of weeks I've posted a couple of baby scrapbook pages and wanted to share the rest of them now that I am finished with it.

Here's the front cover.  I used the Something for Baby, Made with Love & Any Occasion stamp sets.
On these two pages I used the Moon Baby stamp set.  I colored in the images with a blender pen and my ink pads.
This set of pages was made using the Playful Pals stamp set and the coordinating Pyramid Pals Thinlits Dies.
This spread was made using the retired Toy Box stamp set.
I love these two pages.  The stamp set is called Lift Me Up and the coordinating Thinlets are called Up & Away.
I couldn't make one of these without using the retired Zoo Babies stamp set.  Sorry that it's hard to see, but I used the Stitched Frames Framelits to cut out the squares. All of the gray ones are scalloped. I really like the leaves peeking out from behind!
This spread is another favorite of mine.  I used the Cool Treats stamp set…

DSC#220 Falling in Love

Hi!  I was so excited about this color challenge because for once I have some DSP with these colors in it!!  It's a double bonus because I bought this DSP and I've hardly used it, now I had a good excuse.
So, I ended up making two cards because I accidentally used Sweet Sugarplum instead of Blushing Bride! LOL  It wouldn't have been a big deal, but I really wanted to use Blushing Bride!  I love this card and it's matching envelope!  The sentiment is from the All Things Thanks stamp set (I love how perfectly it fit into one of the Stitched Frames Framelits!) and the DSP is called Falling in Love.  My favorite part of this was that the So in Love stamp set has a flower to match the DSP on the right side of the card that I stamped on the envelope. The little flower is from the Blooming' Heart Thinlits set. I even added a piece of ribbon, pretty good for me! Ok, on to the next card...
I used a couple of different pieces of the DSP and flip flopped the arrangement on …
